In reply to: WordPress 1.5.2 hacked with “\” signs everywhereIf so, relax, you haven’t been hacked. Your ISP has probably just changed the PHP configuration (most likely magic_quotes_gpc) settings.
You guys and gals are good. I called up my Web Hosting service this morning and that was it.
Thanks again!

In reply to: WordPress 1.5.2 hacked with “\” signs everywhereThanks for all of the quick responses as usual. My Web Hosting company could not figure out the problem last night but the individual did seem rather ‘green.’ He referred the ticket to a WordPress expert and this morning everything seems to be back to normal.
The link above doesn’t work so I will assume — as stated above — that I wasn’t hacked. Thank goodness, one of the beautiful things about WordPress is knowing that it is so secure.
Again, apologies if I caused undue concern, I just wanted the issue documented in case anyone else had the same problem.
Thanks all for your astute and gracious help.

In reply to: Despicable HorsesDespicable Horses is from my son. He, at eight, loves Metallica (we have raised him properly). He saw me burning “Master of Puppet” in iTunes for him and saw the song “Disposable Heros”. He said, “Oh yeah dad, I love that song, Dispicable Horses!”
I had to use it.
It’s a great machine too. P4, 3.4 GHZ, 1 GB Ram, 80GB HD. I have two NVIDIA Quadro 2 MXR/EX graphics cards running the monitors.
It is a beautiful thing….

In reply to: Recent Posts Errormacmanux – thanks for the link! I checked my admin.php file (which is where the errors says that the problem is) and made sure that there were no spaces. I uploaded the version that I checked and still have the same problem.
It says there is a problem with lines 7,8,9, & 10. According to my admin.php file, that is this bit of code:
header('Expires: Mon, 11 Jan 1984 05:00:00 GMT');
header('Last-Modified: ' . gmdate('D, d M Y H:i:s') . ' GMT');
header('Cache-Control: no-cache, must-revalidate, max-age=0');
header('Pragma: no-cache');Any ideas?
llizard – thanks to you as well. It took me a couple of days after first installing the plugin to realize that I needed to enable it! I checked on Krischan Jodies’ page and found good info on ‘recent comments.php’ but nothing on ‘recentposts.php.’ Does the preceding info bring anything to mind for you either?
Thanka again for all the help guys. My favorite part of WordPress has been how spectacular the support forums are. Keep it up!

I deactivated the plugin, when I reactivated it I got the following errors at the top of the admin panel:

Any ideas? I deleted and copied a fresh copy of recentposts.php and still get the same error…
Thanks again!
