I’m having same problem.

I can select template from dropdown list but no changes reflected on page.

In my case I just want some posts to show the meta-info (Published by… on …), and some don’t.

I’ve created a copy of single.php, edited header and selected template.

but once edited nothing changes.

confirmed also with NexGEN gallery.

is just enough with an enter (carriage return) in description field of any image to trigger this bug.

now that i know it maybe I can try to find a workaround.

ok, I’ve found at least one problem.

did a full clean install of wp 3.5.1 and installed supersized.

created a page and selected WP Media Gallery as source for that only page and attached some images to page.

It works!

but when I edit caption field with something different of plain ascii it breaks and stays at infinite gif loop.

can you please check that Benoit?

is there any workaround for that?

I really would like to insert html code in caption field.
