    Hi Peter,

    1. I learned that the hard way ?? but didn’t made any changes
    2. I assume it is a taxonomy, however the plugin isn’t very clear.
I can see the reference of the category in the WP_terms table in the database but if I use:

    'taxonomy' => 'taxonomy_name',

    It still doesn’t work

I’ve got it fixed for now because it allready worked. The purpose was to exclude a certain category. So I used 'cat' => '-ID', and this worked

    Hi Alles op een plek,

I was wondering if I could please get the dutch translate files from you.
I would really like to use this plugin but not in English.

    Cheers,

    M.

    Hi,

    Thnx for your reply.
Brute Forece Attacks are the only reason I’m doing this.
I tried closing my browser and yes indeed this is the moment it ask’s me again to login.

Is there a way to extend this to e.g. a week?

I’ll take another look at the codex.

    Thnx so far!

    Ohw woow!
    That makes a difference.
    Thnx

However I now only get 5 results at random and from different categories.
I’ll take a look at the shortcode possibilities

    Thnx for your reply!

I did everything I can think of to get this working again but failed everytime.

    1. Deactivate all the plugin’s
    2. Upgraded every plugin, WP-version and Theme’s
    3. Activated the Twenty-(ten, eleven, twelve and thirteen) theme
    4. Tried every shordcode add-on possible
    5. Re-installed the plugin

So the only thing now is that I break open the code from the plugin (which I reather not do) and try to understand what might happen.

There are no error’s what so ever so I’m kinda looking for a needle in a haystack.

    @mikejolley

    Thnx for your responce.
Didn’t work and I allready tried that.
The names are the same and so is the date.
I checked the DB and I can’t find anything strange.

I checked the FTP server and there is anything strange.
I have the latest version and didn’t have to upgrade.

I notice that I haven’t upgraded WP itself so I’ll do that.
I have 2 other plugins that need an upgrade so I’ll do them to.

If that still doesn’t work I’ll deactivate my plugins and see where that get’s me.

I still think it’s strange because this happend all of a sudden. In the mean time nothing changed…

Hit me if you can think of something else

    Thnx!

The link you provided shows me that the plugin haven’t been updated in 2 years. Ussually I don’t go for these plugins because they aren’t monitored for security and there will be no updates when WP updates.

However I do like the idea to put this on a completely new copy of WP.
If I just place the intranet/extranet on a subdomain I can create an .htaccess file on the subdomain!

    Thnx!!!!

    Thread Starter mvanboordt

    (@mvanboordt)

The thing is that the intranet/extranet needs to be an extention to the current website. The current website has an .htaccess file with rules. For the intranet I only want one ip-address to be able to get access. If I do this in the .htaccess file I allready have then other users can’t get on the website.

or maybe (this just came to mind) is it possible to specify a url which can only be accessed from a certain ip-address?

    Thread Starter mvanboordt

    (@mvanboordt)

Yes but I wanted to do this somewhere in the functions.php file.
This would give me the opportunity to change it for all my plugins and then I don’t have to change every plugin I use

    Thread Starter mvanboordt

    (@mvanboordt)

    Thnx I guess.

I’ll take a look at the links you provided.
However this is a different sollution but is it even possible to rewrite the roles for a specific plugin?

    Thread Starter mvanboordt

    (@mvanboordt)

Well that is exactly what I don’t want to do.
Digging in to the PHP is not really the problem but I don’t want to have to edit the plugin everytime there is a update. However this plugin will not be updated for a while but maybe in the future it will.

    Thread Starter mvanboordt

    (@mvanboordt)

In the meantime I did but the plugin page says that the plugin is being discontinued!

The theme I have is custom made so I can easily change this. I don’t really know how!

    Thread Starter mvanboordt

    (@mvanboordt)

    No I haven’t.
Usually if I need some help with a plugin there will be no response or after a couple of months.

So therefore I haven’t contacted them.
