It’s possible. Try uploading your audios to archive.org, and then use the URL they give you to the MP3 file. ??

(Soundcloud sucks at hosting podcasts, BTW. And SSP solves that problem.)

I followed every single advice: Switched to a default theme, deactivated every plugin except for SSP. I didn’t roll back, because I don’t know how to, but I’m planning on reinstalling SSP. (EDIT: tried it, didn’t work.) I installed Query Monitor, just to check out load times, and it seemed to have solved the issue… for a few moments.

Additionally, I found another issue, that might be related: the player doesn’t seem to load when I’m viewing the post. Weird.

OK, that was scary. Turns out that the link that seemed to be a link to the file hosted in the server actually redirects to my link. The file was never on my server after all.
