Hmm, I wonder. I deactivated the WP Super Cache plugin and deleted my internet cache and nothing happened.

But after changing to the default WP theme, that seemed to fix the issue.

Going to leave it deactivated and see whether or not the issue occurs again after posting. If so, it may be the theme itself I’m thinking.

No it’s being published as normal. Not doing anything different than I’ve done in the past.

Tried republishing and that didn’t work. Here’s what’s odd. It shows up on the homepage when I’m logged in. But when logged out, it doesn’t show up??

Any ideas?

Figured it out. I downloaded a fresh version of the theme and uploaded the functions.php file to my file manager to replace the old one … in case anyone wanted to know. ??

Please disregard. I just ended up moving all files to the root and changing the site url in wp_options in phpMyAdmin back to mysite.com and that fix whatever issues I was having with the speed.

Quick followup question. I made the move. Initially ran into an issue because I changed the Website Address AND the Site Address in Settings > General from mysite.com/wordpress to mysite.com and I was not able to access my admin area.

Was able to fix this by changing site url in wp_options in phpMyAdmin back to mysite.com/wordpress.

However, the front-end of the site seems OK, but the back-end is going sooooo slow.

Any ideas what may be causing this?

E-mail me whenever Anyone posts a comment
A comment is held for moderation

Had this site for over two years and never changed the settings, so not sure what’s happening now.
