In reply to: [Estatik Real Estate Plugin] locations do not work well with google mapsHi, thanks for your answer. You are incorrect though on the first thing: state does not work when country is not selected or unavailable.
I created a page with several search options to show you:
https://horecaba.es/advanced-search/
On the last search box, i removed the “country” field and as you can see, state is not working now.As of the province field. I am afraid that does not solve the issue, as the provinces are created, but also in the two different languages.
To make that more clear:
the towns Benissa and Moraira are both located in the pronince of Alicante, in the Valencian Community. In fact, they are neighbours.
But when I enter Benisaa, it will be added as Benissa, Alacant, Comunitat Valenciana. Moraira will be added as Moraira, Alicante, Valencian Community.
As you see, the province name (Alicante) is written in Valencian as well in the case of Benissa.
I haven’t tested this for other regions, but since Spain has 4 or 5 different official languages, I can only imagine this problem will occur with much more locations.

In reply to: [Estatik Real Estate Plugin] locations do not work well with google mapsHi,
Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, all three part answers didn’t help. Let me explain.
The state field is quite important to be able to narrow down the town list. Not right now with fout towns, but it will be once I promote the website in other regions as well. But when “town” can work independently from “state”, then why can’t “state” work independently from “country”?
I am not talking about translations in my website. My website is in English only. But google maps translates some locations into the Valencian language, and there is no way for me to change the text. I can enter the location in English, but it will revert to Valencian immediately.
You can hide the address, that is right. But in your plugin options there seems to be no way to hide the huge google maps, that automatically appears when you enter an address. I’ve hidden that now through “display:none”, but there should be an option to hide it completely, which would also save load times.

In reply to: [Estatik Real Estate Plugin] subscriptions, VAT and invoicesdont you agree that in fact this should be a standard option in your plugin, as I cannot believe that I am the only agency that needs invoicing and VAT calculation. Basically, all real estate agents that actually are registered businesses will need that.
Any possibility you might integrate it in a next version?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Estatik Real Estate Plugin] Backend property searchyes, that functionality is just not enough. ID is not very useful, a (search) field “reference” and a text search (text field where you can type any text like the wordpress search itself) would be way more useful.
Agents only is a search options of course when you make use of agents, which a real estate agent will not often do.
Now, we have for instance 50 villas for sale in Moraira, which makes all search options except for that ID list all properties.
Same issue here on about every site that has multiple languages.
A solution and notification would be very helpful.

In reply to: [Estatik Real Estate Plugin] subscriptions, VAT and invoicesI guess best and easiest would be to allow the use of a third party eCommerce system like woocommerce to handle the sale of subscriptions.

In reply to: [Estatik Real Estate Plugin] Don’t Purchase – No comprarVery weird that with the search, you will have to enter the “country” field, because otherwise the town or state fields do not give entries.
You will then have to explain visitors that in order to search for a specific town, they will have to enter country and state first. Very inflexible.Another problem is, that in multilingual countries, addresses are written in those different languages.
I am building a website for Spanish properties. I build it in English.
I have now entered four towns from the province of Alicante, Valencian Community.
For three of those towns it states, for instance, Moraira, Alicante, Valencian Community. But fot the town Benissa, 5km further, it says Benissa, Alacant, Comunitat Valenciana. So the same region is in the search bar in two different languages. As Spain has 4 languages, this will cause problems.Last, in Spain, in real estate business agents often do not have exclusivity of the property. Publishing the address would then just make that customers will go to the property owner directly.
The system Estatik has is not bad, but should be optional, not the only wat to do it.
