    Hi @ikx94 !!

I just pushed live 1.6.4 which includes what you requested here. Thank you for your patience. There was a lot to do in order to make this happen. The plugin now includes the /languages folder and has a .POT file inlcuded. Loco Translate currently shows: Updated:?January 26, 2025 1:33 pm?–?0% translated, 588 strings (588 untranslated)

I’m closing out this support for now and if you need something else feel free to open it back up.

I pride myself on delivering an exceptional product and customer service. If you are enjoying MxChat and ever find yourself with some time leaving a review means the world to me.

    Thanks again,

    Maxwell

howdy @ikx94 getting closer to being finished. This was quite a bit of work. Loco translate currently showing around 360+ strings. I have to test and ensure no functionality was broken as well.

Hi @ikx94! Yes, I am going to do this. I had to shift focus last week to fix two bugs and then finish another feature that was in the works. There will be an update later today which will include a new rate limit by role feature. Now that the bugs are fixed and that feature is completed I will be working on the translatable strings and it will be in the next update! Apologies for the delay, but this will be coming very soon!

    Hi @joanna321 ,

Did you have a chance to try this yet? Wanted to make sure you’ve received my communication. I’ve responded to all of your emails, but they might be going to spam. I’ve also contacted you via MxChat bot on your website hoping you’d see the transcript if the emails didn’t make it. Let me know!

    Thanks again,

    Maxwell

    Hi @ikx94

First off – thank you for checking out MxChat! This is a great point. I’ll review this. It should be fairly simple to update. Give me about a week or so and I’ll let you know once I have an update.

    Thanks,

    Maxwell

    Hi @joanna321!

Thanks so much for reaching out. I did see your email and responded, but unfortunately my emails are going to spam – an issue I’ve been working on solving. I’d like for you to first check the manifest file that you downloaded from MxChat.AI documentation page. Inside of that file it has an example URL for the endpoint, this must be updated to your actual endpoint.

    Make sure this:
    request_url: https://example.com/wp-json/mxchat/v1/slack-interaction

    Is changed to this:
    request_url: https://slowtravelsweden.se/wp-json/mxchat/v1/slack-interaction

Once you try that please let me know. Sometimes if you’ve been changing a lot of settings trying to fix it could be best to delete the slack app and start over.

    Thanks,

    Maxwell

    Hi @thomashruby,

I pushed an update today that included new settings in the knowledge database and reworked how the sitemap/page submission worked. There are two new settings – auto-sync posts, and auto-sync pages. This will automatically add any new pages or posts created to the knowledge base. It will also automatically update any changes made to posts or pages to the knowledge database.

When submitting sitemaps it will now check if the page is already in the knowledge base. If it is it will update the information to be the most current instead of duplicating all sitemap pages that are already in the knowledge database.

Please let me know if this fixes or addresses what you were asking for and if so I’ll close out this ticket.

    Thanks,

    Maxwell

    Hi Thomas,

You are the second person to ask me this today, so I better get on it! Currently there are no automatic updates for posts or sitemaps. I do have this implemented for WooCommerce products, so it’s definitely possible. There are quite a few reasons as to why I didn’t do this already and I started to explain all of that here, but it got rather long. The reality is if users keep requesting it I need to implement it! What I’ll aim to do over the next week is implement a feature where you can toggle on automatic page & post updates. So any new page or post created or updated will automatically update in the knowledge base.

I may also explore a cron job for sitemaps that will automatically check sitemaps on a set interval and update or add any new pages.

I believe that addresses what you were asking. One part I quite didn’t understand is “One request would be the ability to manually update a page in the knowledge database, for example using an action button, next to the Edit and Delete actions.” – would this not just be the edit button where you click edit and update the content in the knowledge base or what did you have in mind here?

Thanks again for reaching out. I love to hear from users and want to make this the best plugin available.

    Hi Yoshi,

I’ve reached out multiple times via email and here and haven’t received a response. Based on my understanding you are no longer using MxChat. I’d love to help you in anyway possible if needed, but until I hear back I’m closing this out.

    Thanks again,

Hey! Thanks for reaching out. To better assist can you confirm a few things for me.

    1. Did you submit your WooCommerce product sitemap into the knowledge base?
    2. Do you see the products in your knowledge base?

can you provide me the URL and a sample query and product to test. For example the name of a product and the input you entered that did not return the product but you thought it would. Preferably in Japanese just as you would.

    thanks!

    Edit:

One last point of clarification. Are you saying that it’s not returning the matched product or that it’s not returning the product card which will have the image and price and add to cart button?

I hadn’t considered it, but I’m always open to building integrations users think will be useful. Slack integration came from a pro user request. What other platforms did you have in mind?

To answer your other question, live chat currently will require an openAI key, because the bot is built to be AI first and live chat can only be activated by going through AI intent.

I did think about the possibility of people wanting live chat only and will review this for the next update, but likely will not ready by Wednesday.

with current setup you could theoretically force it to only use live chat, but would still require openai key and credits.
