It sounds to me like your country list has not been loaded into your database correctly. Can you check your wpec_curreny_table and make sure all the countries are listed and dont stop at mauritiana? If they have one way to fix this is to make a backup of your database and delete the currency table. Once you have done that deactivate and reactive your plugin and WPEC should regenerate the entire table again.

What version of WP are you using? Is it all the latest?
If Visser Labs can confirm its not a permission or server error then I would be happy to look at it after that for you – this is not a common problem or one I have heard of before.

If this doesn’t sound like the cause of your permalink problem then I would create a premium support request so the premium support team will be able to debug your site and look at your problem and files in depth.
Permalinks can be tricky to debug but the first things I would suggest you try yourself that wont take long would be:
-visit your permalink settings hit the save button twice this will flush your permalink rules and reset any links.
– check you have a products page with the correct [productspage] shorttag if your not using the default products page and have deleted it then there are no way for your permalinks to work.
Once you have checked this out if things are still not working for you then get in touch with premium support they are there to help.

Are you orders been marked as payment accepted (in your sales logs) return from the gateway?
Also do you have the %product_list% tag in your purchase receipt (located under settings > store > admin) – without this the download links will not be sent.

The getshopped forums is probably a better place to go for issues as they are been monitored pretty heavily to make sure everyone is getting on ok with upgrades!

If you would like to use the old templates but the new plugin then you can just do that (of course please use the new category widget) just copy your old them files (products page single product etc) into your currently active WordPress theme this will load the old templates and not the new ones. As whatever is in the WP theme files gets priority and loaded first.
As for some of the issues your having with the new theme files I might be able to answer some of these for you
Categories List is wrong
You have an error did you manually copy the category widget from the wpsc-themes folder into your wordpress directory – It still looks like your using the old one as it has an undefined function call and them theme file is coming from your uploads directory – this wont work. you will need to manaully copy the new widget into the WP theme file.
Main Text is squashed up (missing line breaks)
The theme files are slightly different – you can put in a line break if you like – or I can help you do this if you need.
Paging is showing the top and bottom controls together at top
I believe you can change the setting as to where you want your paging to be in the store > settings presentation
Featured Products Title Missing
The Featured products must be selected – have you highlighted the star to show you want these products featured? The feature products now have its own template so you can easily add in whatever text you like and style it to suit.
Products don’t show up in the same order
How are they been ordered in your presentation settings?Products show aktt_notify_twitter: no
This is due to a plugin your running – if you open up or edit your products you will notice in the custom meta area that this line of text has been added in from your twitter plugin – delete this and it will go away.Product thumbnails are dead until the page has been loaded once
Product thumbnails for me loaded first time? – what browser are you using? This could be a browser bug that I would be happy to resolve for you.
Footer is missing
You will just need to put a call to your footer at the bottom of the products pages
