To custom sitemap name you can do step by step:
1. Go to inc\sitemaps in plugin folder
2. Edit file class-sitemaps-router.php
3. On row 32 you can change any name.
Done!

I have replaced all sitemap_index.xml by newsitemap_index.xml but it not working! How can I change It?

So easy to see all new post from my worpress website via sitemap. I want to hide my new post from my competitors (example: I have and great idea and my competitors access my sitemap and my NEW idea is copied.) And I do not want anyone to know except googlebot.
And I have some Solution for it.
1. Change sitemap_index into a secret name and do not redirect sitemap.xml to new site map name.
2. Use user agent (distinguish between user and search bot)! I try to Block users from accessing my sitemap by DNS, sitemaps, htaccess… However, all failed.
