in this case its a plugin conflict so its a wordpress problem.

yeah, the main feature doesnt work.

its a problem caused by the new wp major version.
i will rate it up again when it works.
would be cool as i am using your plugin for dozends of websites since last week ;-.)

this plugin DOES NOT work.

the wp installation still receives wp updates and installs them automatically. (auto update setting: no)

i ll try to find another plugin for this.
i prefeer a plugin instead of modifying the config file.

i will test this wp org plugin right now:

its NOT a child theme thing.
that is for customization of css etc.

its not a few people like u- mus be millions.
but this is a regular wordpress problem.
wordpress is easy to setup but not that easy to configure and secure.

also updates are not always that simple.

the reason why pros dont loos their website is:
because they update ALL files and ALL Database entries bevor klicking something.

woocommerce compatibility is also a known 3rd party problem.

i autoupdated ca 10 websites today and there was none problem with any of them.

which theme are u using?

you could also check this plugin to control wp core updates:

get the previous wordpress version from www.ads-software.com
and overwrite your wordpress files on your server via ftp.
that should work.

you can disable auto updates adding this to your config file:
define( ‘WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE’, false );

You can edit the database tables or
use a plugin to add google analytics statistics to your wordpress database. put the data directly into the db-tables that Page-View-Count created!

its a bug of the plugin.
i guess because of wp core updates.

i have the same.
it must be fixed by the developer….
