In reply to: [Schema App Structured Data] image: missing and requiredSame algorithm (even exact code possibly too) for test tool’s validation likely also used for evaluation of pages by Google’s system beyond the testing tool. Adapt plugin to this and plugin is then better than other plugin that does not adapt. If Google fixes the issue on their end, then adapt again before the competition does and then the plugin get more copies distributed due to competitive advantage imparted to those that consume copies of plugin.
Hoping plugin will strive & grow, not wither away like some burnt out coal. I’m here pushing on plugin’s chest and shouting for it to breathe. C’mone little fella, you can do it.

In reply to: [AMP] “The attribute image.width has an invalid value.”It doesn’t matter that much if it’s “valid”, “not valid”, “sort of valid” or JSON salad. If done one way where the browsers plus Google approves and another way where less parts work together, what is the path to take until that equation changes? The testing tool and the “real deal” are likely to operate the same way. Same person probably copy and paste that code all over google. One day the boss will catch wind but, in the mean time….

In reply to: [Schema App Structured Data] image: missing and requiredMainly, cause I put quotes around the number in the left hand side of validation tool, manually, and it works. Without quotes, the error. If google is broke then just sit around and hope they fix it one day, I’ll change local copy of plugin and continue for success while you wait.
Also, tag entry or display on this comment section is broken. I put in “amp”, display is “&”. Maybe you wait for Google to fix that.
Sorry for “attitude”, just busting your chops… lol.

In reply to: [AMP] AMP pages not showing on Google“The attribute image.width has an invalid value.” It’s because the image width IS incorrect. So is the height, BTW, because there is supposed to be quotes around the data part of the JSON data, {“height”:100,”width”:100} should be {“height”:”100″,”width”:”100″}.
Thanks, I have seen this too and am bumping post to help plugin makers get it fixed.

In reply to: [AMP] Image missing and requiredOnce you fix the default image problem then you’ll get “The attribute image.width has an invalid value.” It’s because the image width IS incorrect. So is the height, BTW, because there is supposed to be quotes around the data part of the JSON data, {“height”:100,”width”:100} should be {“height”:”100″,”width”:”100″}. The plugin is borked.
