    Hello Hannah & Mats,

@fernashes – thanks for your reply. Ticket for this issue is now created.

@matteth – I think this was marked as resolved because they are not going to discuss it here, but on their extra forum/chat located on WooCommerce website. Ticket for this issue is now open, it was surprise for me when support guy told me that issue was not already reported. Plugin has 80,000+ active installations :-O… I can confirm it is 100% problem with plugin, because I was able to recreate error on fresh WordPress install with default Twenty Seventeen theme and only WooCommerce and Braintree plugins activated.

    Hello Chouby,

    thanks for your reply!

We have 4 languages on our site, after I run your script, it creates another 4 posts of “polylang_mo” type, so I have totally 8 posts there… I deleted all posts with post type = “polylang_mo”, then run your script and it looks like new posts have been successfully created and on database everything looks fine, there are all pairs of “string – translation”.

    https://www.pixhost.org/show/2089/27585212_polylang-db.jpg

However, I am still not able to edit strings on Settings > Languages > Strings translation, all strings are still there on English.

    https://www.pixhost.org/show/2089/27585215_polylang-wpadmin.jpg

Any ideas what is wrong? Is it problem that I changed IDs of posts?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

    Hi Chouby,

    Thanks for your reply!

It looks like strings were stored on wp_options table in previous versions of plugin. We were using 1.6.1 but it is not compatible with current version of WordPress (can’t switch language for post on admin, etc…)

After upgrade to 1.7.5 it creates a posts you described on your reply, but all strings have been imported in default English language, so we are not ready to use them. I wrote my own function which is loading data from old wp_options arrays and show right translations on front.

I tried copy serialized arrays from wp_options to post_type “polylang_mo” but it works only for two from four languages we are using and after I changed one string on Settings > Languges > Strings translation it saves only 7 strings from cca 200 we are using on our website…

Maybe if I downgrade plugin back to 1.6.1 and then upgrade to version where you change storing strings from wp_options to posts it will work, do you know in what version you made this change? Or please let me know if it is some easier way how to manage strings stored on wp_options table from admin dashboard.

    Thanks,
    Michal

    Hello again,

Sync option is now visible after we update Mailchimp for WordPress Pro plugin to current version 2.7.3.

    Topic is resolved.

    Hi Bo?tjan,

I am using your plugin together with my custom icons. I have created pictures for my favorite social networks together with theme.txt file and put all in my own directory inside themes directory of your plugin. However, your current version of plugin (2.2.2) rewrite all files in theme directory and delete my custom theme! I have backup, so I have no problem to restore it, but do you think it is possible to fix this in new version and don’t rewrite all theme directory?

    Thank you in advance,
    Michal

Yes, you are checking it, but guys who create Nextend Twitter Connect plugin don’t. And after I added this condition in their plugin, it shows me error when I try to login to my site via my Twitter account.

I just found out they are using newest version of tmhOAuth.php file (0.8.2) than you (0.7.2) and I think your file was probably using by WordPress (maybe it is because I started using your plugin earlier than Nextend Twitter Connect plugin)…

Anyway I am not using functionalities from advanced features tab so removing tmhOAuth.php from your file will be fine solution for me.

    Thank you for quick response.

OK, I found a solution. It looks like Social Stickers plugin works fine also without calling file tmhOAuth.php from social-stickers.php file (I will ask plugin author why it is this file required).

However for future version of Nextend Twitter Connect it would be nice to use if(!class_exists) condition in init.php file while other plugins can also use tmhoAuth class.

    Hi Silvo,

to be honest, We stopped using Related Posts plugin about three weeks ago. We have also problems with SSL (I wrote you about it in this topic: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/related-posts-and-https?replies=4) and We created our own solution for showing related posts which are now selected by similar tags.

An important part of our website is e-shop which is available in three different languages. We used Related Posts plugin for showing Recommended products on product’s pages. There was a SSL problem and we need Edit Related posts function, because sometimes plugin generates link to same product but in different language (We are using Polylang plugin for translating posts and pages). And it was also too difficult to edit related posts for hundred of products…

I still think your plugin is really good, but it seems that it wasn’t a right choice for our project. However, your support was really perfect and I really appreciate it. I hope We will use your plugin in the future for our next projects.

    Regards,
    Myso

Yes, ‘slides’ option is there and was not checked. I didn’t know about this feature in the settings, ’cause it was probably not included in previous versions…

Everyhing works OK now. Thank you for your help and for your great plugin.

    Hi Chouby,

thank you for your answer, but I didn’t get same results as you. I tried a perform clean WordPress installation, there are just these two plugins – Polylang and Responsive Slider 0.18.

With Polylang 0.9.8 there is available Languages option for every slide:
    https://www.pixhost.org/show/3170/16421677_polylang_098.jpg

However, with current version 1.0.3, there is no box with Languages:
    https://www.pixhost.org/show/3170/16421679_polylang_103.jpg

I think your plugin is generating the DIV with “ml_box” id as a child for “side-sortables” div in wordpress editor. This box is still available in posts and pages, but no more for slides when I am using current Polylang version.
