have you use page template for portfolio? by default portfolio archieve is looks like a blog posts ( 1 per line ), you can create an empty page and assign it into portfolio page template to get the column

What is your woocommerce version?

what is the error message?

to get your product display like a home page, create a page and set it page template to “Home Page Template”

then go to Appearance > Widget, drag the Bearded Widget to the Home Widget slot, there also a Product widget

It’s impossible to move it to the main content box, as it’s also depend on the parent container for a WayPoint when it gets scrolled.

there is an options in the woocommerce to set image thumbnail

I think this was cause by your logo files not recognized by the WP, I’ve experience this problem before, it was happening after updating to WP 3.8.1 when my .png file is not accepted, but some are accepted. This looks like cause by the logo .png size is too small

the avatar should can be change by signing yourself in gravatar, that
dummy avatar will be replaced when you have your avatar on gravatar,
then make sure your email login on the WordPress is the same as the
one on gravatar

make sure you’re not setting this page as a Post Page in Settings > Reading > Static Front Page

hover color is using theme color for most of it, you can change the color in Customize Menu

It’s quite hard to change it to fixed menu, there will be need a lots of change on the css.

Which version of woocommerce do you use? this theme only support woocommerce 2.1+

you may also want to try to update your stylesheet, looks like there are lots of missing style, may be caused when installing the theme

Oh right, this one is a fun work added by me can be removed by removing shadow from box-wrapper
