In reply to: New Plugin format is rubbishLast Updated DOES hold useful info..who wants to use a plugin when the last time it was updated was 3 years ago? If it doesn’t “hold useful info” then why show us the “Last Updated” date in the first place? Going by your post, the date of the plugin doesn’t matter. Maybe it doesn’t matter to you, but to the rest of us? It matters big time. “Compatible with your version of WordPress” and the Last Updated date work together.
If anything, we should AT LEAST be able to bring the “Compatible with your version of WordPress” right to the top. I prefer to see ONLY the plugins I can actually use and I prefer to use plugins that are compatible with my version of WordPress…at least that way I know it’s at the very least updated to run with my current version of WordPress.
I’m sick of searching for a plugin and seeing “Untested with your version of WordPress” all over the page, then find ONE plugin that is actually compatible with my version half-way down the page surrounded by more outdated and untested versions.
tl;dr
At least let us filter by Compatibility. This would at least bring the most current versions to the top.message sent.
Even though Automatic Smushing is enabled, I still had to “Bulk Smush” thru the WP Smush admin. The plugin was installed before I even made my first post.
It’s currently not auto-smushing.
Seeing the same thing.
As far as refreshing the Media Library goes, I refresh, click on an image and get the “Smush Now” button…I click it, get the “Smushing Image” prompt THEN I get the smushed stats.

In reply to: [Gridster-Lite] Remove metadata on postsFirst I suggest using a child theme (if you aren’t already), might I suggest the One-Click Child Theme. You can grab it using the plugins tab.
Be sure to have Gridster as your active theme first!
Once the plugin is installed and activated, go to Appearance >> Child Theme
Name it “Gridster – child” (or whatever you want) and save. It will automatically activate the child theme for you. Then go back to Appearance >> Child Theme
Select “content-single.php” from the dropdown menu, click “Copy Template”
Then go to Appearance >> Editor, click on “content-single.php”, find and remove…<ul id="meta"> <li class="datemeta"><?php echo human_time_diff(get_the_time('U'), current_time('timestamp')) . ' ago'; ?></li> <li class="categorymeta"> <?php _e('Posted in:','gridster-lite') ?> <?php the_category(', ') ?> </li> <li class="commentsmeta"><a href="<?php comments_link(); ?>"> <?php comments_number( '0', '1', '%' ); ?> </a></li> <li class="authormeta"> <?php _e('Author:','gridster-lite') ?> <a class="url fn n" href="<?php echo get_author_posts_url(get_the_author_meta('ID')); ?>"> <?php the_author(); ?> </a></li> <li class="tagmeta"> <?php the_tags('Tags: ',', ',''); ?> </li> </ul>
Doing this will remove the time, posted in and categories, comment count, author info and tags…ALL of the metadata at the top of your posts.
I hope this is what you’re looking for.

In reply to: [Athena] featured image only in home pageI’d like to know if there is a way to do this as well.
ThanksForum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Athena] Admin Bar OverlapLOL, it’s NOT a bug. Some developers choose to mess with their theme’s fixed navbar coding in order to deal with WordPress’ decision to default-on that stupid admin bar.
Just turn it off in the wordpress admin settings and keep working.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Athena] Change the background color from whiteFollow the same steps as outlined in the post above yours mustfly79. But, replace “pink” with your custom hex-code color.

In reply to: [Tracks] Infinite Scrolling Blog PageWould you happen to have an E.T.A. on the Tracks update with Infinite Scroll functionality? I have the Tracks Pro Plugin and theme-integrated Infinite Scroll functionality would be icing on the cake! ??

In reply to: [SKT Photo Session] Streamline the headerNevermind. I went with another free theme because this one just wouldn’t work correctly on mobile. Thanks.
Exactly what I did the same day I posted this question. Thanks anyway.
How can I reduce the transparency of ALL the black backgrounds sitewide?
I’m talking mainpage/homepage/frontpage header (the one with the title/logo and menu at the top of the slider page), the black background behind posts, the black background behind the sidebar widget area, the black background behind the footer.
You know, EVERYWHERE there’s a semi-transparent black background. I’d like to reduce them to maybe 0.6 or maybe more.
Thank you.

In reply to: [Pinbin] Jetpack infinite scroll supportWhen you use the infinite scroll plugin, on the infinite scroll settings page. Scroll down to the Behaviors setting and change it from Default to Masonry/Isotope. Doing that fixed my “stacking” problem.
