In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on] successful payment marked failedI’m having the same problem, PayPal status shows failed however order details show a transaction ID. We are not getting email notification with the content from the form fields. I followed instructions and the IPN seems to be set properly. It used to work well but since April, seeing lots of inconsistencies, both Stripe and PayPal show “Abandoned” or “failed”. thanks.
Jan,
As you might know, I don’t believe I’ve ever posted for help here and if I did it might have been only once. I am new to this forum. I typically engage in opening support tickets with the admins of the WordPress themes I use. These are open to the public but do offer the option to “mark as private”. And a support admin will typically ask for login credentials to troubleshoot.So when I offered login, (which was terribly stupid of me) I really had forgotten where I was posting. Granted, this is lame of me and I truly do apologize. I guess I just was not thinking! I’m not here to offer support and technical advice to others, I don’t have the skill level. And I would never ask for someone else’s login – I agree it is too much of a responsibility to have this access. So I do apologize for the concerns I’ve created.
Thank you for taking the time to explain.
Hello,
Thank you for your help and I appreciate the options you have offered.I do not see how I can edit the support ticket to remove the admin login credentials. Would you be able to tell me how?
Regarding the PDFs, I uploaded as jpegs so there is no need to treat them as PDFs but I do want them large enough to better read the text. When I set “no” to resizing, it uploads the images to the size I have specified but on the page and in the lightbox, the images do not appear to be that specified size – they are much smaller. And I don’t see and area to adjust the lightbox dimensions.
Thanks again,
NancyThank you for your quick response.
Sorry but I’m a little confused:
1. Where in the settings did I specify a rectangle icon? In section #4 of settings I chose “thin” which displays round icons. I don’t want to pay extra in order to have instagram displayed.
2. It seems as if there are 2 different icons being used on my site. On this page, https://thetravelmechanic.com/golf-experiences/ when you scroll to the bottom the social icons appear as I want them to. Not sure what happened but it used to appear on all pages and posts but I no longer see this happening. Are these settings for the animated feature of the plugin as well as the icons I’ve set for posts?
3. the goal is to have all the chose icons appear after each blog post as they are now but circle icons would be better. And I also would like for the animated feature to appear also. Is this possible?Hello,
the Instagram icon at the bottom of each post is not visible, the others are fine.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] mailchimp shortcode to display a formThanks Harish, I figured this is the way the list works but I’m having trouble with getting the shortcode. it is not displayed in the forms section of WP dashboard > Mailchimp for WP> Forms.
I only have one list and the shortcode you suggested [mc4wp_form] does not work, it only displays a single email field, not the form I created. I was able to get the embedded code of the form I created and placed it in a text widget but I guess that’s not the way to do it or that code conflicts with some other plugin I’m using. Could the problem possibly be WP Bakery Visual Composer. This is the form that is available to me:
<p>
<label>Email address: </label>
<input type=”email” name=”EMAIL” placeholder=”Your email address” required />
</p><p>
<input type=”submit” value=”Sign up” />
</p>
and this is the short code:[mc4wp_form id=”1944″]Why don’t I see the form I created.
I’m sorry I’m having such trouble with the basics.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] mailchimp shortcode to display a formHello, thank you for your quick response. I only have one form and if I use this shortcode [mc4wp_form] it displays the default, not the one I created. When I go to dashboard>Mailchimp for WP>forms I only see the default form that came with the plugin. when i click on the button “get shortcode” it shows only the default form. I don’t see the form I created.But if I go dashboard>Mailchimp for WP>mailchimp it takes me to the General settings page where I see the form I created but there is only the ID not the shortcode. if I click on the form and click edit it take me out to my Mailchimp account. Even there I can’t find the short code. I was able to get the embedded code but I don’t think it’s working well on the website. I’m using a theme that uses WP Bakery Visual Composer. I think I should use a shortcode with this plugin rather than the embedded code.
Sorry this post is so long. Thanks for your help. Let me know if you want login to access the site so you can better see the problem.Forum: Plugins
