Thank you!! The second step in #3 solved my problem!

Hey, My facebook feed is showing a weird pink ‘highlight’ of the text, also the text is a strange pink color as well. No matter what I change in the customize settings it won’t change. How can I change this?

but there is no main.css for me to edit. there is a style.css and the line you are talking about is not in there.
Either way though, I’m not trying to change the space above the logo, I’m trying to change the height of the top of the page that has the page name on it.
I also would like to either shorten the height of the footer or get rid of that as well. I’ve messed with the code in header and footer and nothing seems to change.

Go to appearance->theme options Its close to the top of the page.
