I’ve added an update message for More Stripe users to NOT update if you don’t have the latest 1.9.x version of More Stripe (you should email support to receive this).

I’ve also added a check in future versions to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

That’s a problem with an out-of-date version of the More Stripe plugin, not this one. You can find support information in your purchase email.

I know you’ve said you followed the installation instructions 100%, but after two and a half years of supporting this plugin, I can guarantee you’ve missed the last instruction to connect the form to Stripe — as experienced here:

This plugin always works with the latest version of Gravity Forms. The required version number in the documentation is the minimum.

Yes, a limitation, but I believe more options have been added in the next version
