In reply to: [WP Publication Archive] [Plugin: WP Publication Archive] new similar pluginI like that – where can I get a copy?
Hi bmaberry, Stripe deprecated a function parameter used to check for valid API keys and didn’t notify customers because they keep deprecated functionality for older accounts and therefore don’t expect things to break. However, they are now aware that this policy doesn’t work in a plugin scenario and have pledged to notify me when the API changes.
So if you’re using the plugin with a relatively new Stripe account, then the API key check will fail. It’s all fixed up in the latest version that hasn’t been released here yet (but will be soon). I have been sending out a few advance copies – email me if you’re interested.
Hmm, feshin, haven’t run into that error before but I’m glad you resolved it – and thanks for the kind words ?? You can donate here: https://naomicbush.com/
Hi Patrick, the plugin has been completely refactored and a new version will be released very, very soon.
Hi Rena, email me and I’ll send you more information ??
hey guys, there is an updated version of the plugin that works with the latest version of Gravity Forms and fixes all of the issues reported thus far but it’s only been available to those that have donated – as I’ve been personally corresponding and working with them. I plan on making it available here in another week or two.

In reply to: Discount at checkout plugin neededYou need to give more information. What do you already have installed?
Rob, yes, on the Stripe settings page.
Hi Rob, transactions should show in the Stripe dashboard immediately. Have you placed the dashboard into ‘Test’ mode so that you can see all of your test transactions? (This toggle can be find in the top left corner of the dashboard)
Hey, the latest version just came out today! Give me some time ??
That being said, yes I will eventually get to it in the next few weeks. You’re the first person to ask, and a fair donation can help me move a little quicker.
Turned out to be a conflict from the Shortcodes Ultimate plugin interfering with the JS. I recommend contacting the plugin author to see if they will fix, or doing without it.
Hi robriggs, sounds like you’re using an old version of the plugin. Are you sure you checked the box to “Enable AJAX” when you inserted the form on your page?
I can take a look at it for you now in exchange for a donation.
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: the morning after… thumbnail imagesThis is not a complete answer but will get you closer:
Inserting them as a featured image is correct, but the theme has to specifically output them in the template file used to display your latest articles page (maybe index.php or home.php), using something like
the_post_thumbnail()
You can, sometimes. Depends on the shared host. It’s not ideal, IMO, for anything other than a small personal Multisite install-
But, as Ipstenu eluded to, if you’re going to have a decent amount of traffic/usage, you’ll want to be on at least a VPS. If you don’t want to deal with some of the management work for this, check out some of the WordPress managed hosts (you can do a search online). Prices are going to start out between $50 – $100.
