In reply to: Index of.. 404 not foundYou will need to get in contact with your hosting provider. If that is in fact the person that you have lost contact with, then you are out of luck.

In reply to: Images broken after moveThank you for your input.
The complete WordPress website (files and database) have been moved. I have only adjusted the database login and the salt keys in wp-config.php after the move.

If you know what you are doing, then you would not be here in the first place:
– There is no such thing as “up-to-date” rewrite rules.
– Would you apply the provided Apache rewrite rules, you would get the result you seek for.I personally have a lot of experience in all kinds of set-ups. I have set-up entire infrastructures, but not that it should matter. Your prejudgement says a lot about you though. ??

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Minify 404 JS fileDid you apply the configuration provided on the ‘Install’ tab?
Then go NGINX all the way. What you are saying does not make any sense.
If you know what you are doing, then you would know how to change the rewrite rules provided for Apache to NGINX’ format.
So apply the Apache rewrite rules?
There is a tab called ‘Install’. Use it.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Minify 404 JS fileI would suggest playing around with the minify settings, or do as it says and enable debug mode to see exactly what is wrong.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 Total Cache prevents scheduled posts from being posted. It appears to be an issue with any caching plug-in, so do not even bother trying an alternative. ??

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Minify 404 JS fileTry switching off Rewrite URL structure under the Minify tab. Sounds like a rewrite issue to me.
It is not. The goal is to not having to compress files on-the-fly but serve pre-compressed files instead. That is much more efficient.
I have read somewhere that it is what this feature is meant for, however NGINX HttpGzipStaticModule only looks for pre-compressed files ending in .gz and not _gzip like this plug-in currently saves them as.
