In reply to: [GDPR tools: Cookie notice + privacy] Privacy page link in AMPThank you for everything.
But for now I will not be using your plugin. I will keep searching for an AMP compatible plugin.
Best Regards

In reply to: [GDPR tools: Cookie notice + privacy] Privacy page link in AMPThanks for the quick action. I have updated the plugin and like you said, the privacy policy link is working.
However, I have a doubt about the other steps. What happens to the validation of my AMP site? Will it still be valid AMP after I enable jquery.js? Or can there be some other issue?
Is it possible to hide the notice on AMP pages?

In reply to: [GDPR tools: Cookie notice + privacy] Privacy page link in AMPAlso, the “Understand” button does not work on AMP pages.
Thanks.
I am not using Woocommerce.
No, not every time. So far it has happened only twice while I must have preloaded cache about 50 times.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Featured Image AlignmentThanks again @ampforwp
I chose the second layout in Design –> SwiftTheme –> Single and now the featured image is aligned with the post content. But there is one other small problem now. I am selecting to display the author name but it is not displaying when using this layout of Single. Looks like a bug. Author Bio displays correctly when selected.
I am marking this support query as resolved.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Google Search Console: Missing AuthorThanks @mazedulislamkhan
But is there a way in Yoast to stop URLs like this “/page/3/?cat=-1” from getting indexed by Google? Is there any setting that I can change or do?

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] 301 Redirects in .htaccess disappearHi @ampforwp
Thanx but after I kept the 301 Redirects above the “# Begin WordPress”, this problem has not happened again. I am marking the issue as resolved.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] Featured Image AlignmentThanx @ampforwp
This is the URL of a post in my blog: https://www.desiyatri.com/thailand-visa/visa-on-arrival/
In AMP version, the featured image is stretched to both sides of the screen. In non-AMP version, the featured image in mobile is aligned with the width of the content.

In reply to: [AMP] Critical Error: Custom JavaScript is not allowedThanks again @ryankienstra
So, the code you gave is supposed to make the AMP version “http” if I understand correctly. But somehow it is not happening.
I guess that is good if it continues as it is.
But out of curiosity, will Google accept my AMP version pages if they are HTTP while the non-AMP version is HTTPS? I don’t actually know what is going on here. Should I raise a support ticket with ‘Really Simple SSL’?

In reply to: [AMP] Critical Error: Custom JavaScript is not allowedThanks a lot @ryankienstra
Yes, I am using Really Simple SSL. I did what you said (put the code at the end of functions.php) and the AMP test passed in the validator and also in the google search AMP test. But I have a question. After this will my pages remain valid ‘HTTPS’ in all the AMP and non-AMP versions?
Please clarify so that I can relax.

In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] 301 Redirects in .htaccess disappearThanks @frenchomatic
So no official word on the overwriting of the .htaccess file by the plugin?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [AMP for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages] 301 Redirects in .htaccess disappearI am not using mobile redirection or any caching plugin. But I am using ‘Really Simple SSL’, don’t know if that is relevant. I think I made a mistake in inserting “Redirect 301” entries within the ‘# Begin WordPress’ and ‘# End WordPress’ markers. I started 301 redirects only after installing your plugin. I have seen that your plugin, when updated, (and also perhaps when installed), overwrites everything within these ‘# Begin WordPress’ ‘# End WordPress’ markers. So I hope that after shifting my ‘Redirect 301’ entries outside these markers, the redirects will remain intact in the future. Please confirm if my understanding is correct or not.

In reply to: [AMP] Native AMP in Version 0.7There is another AMP plugin – ‘AMP for WP’ that has a one click option to redirect all mobile visitors to AMP. ‘AMP for WP’ uses this plugin ‘AMP for WordPress’ as a base, and builds features on it. I am currently using that one but not using this redirect function. I am already using ‘Really Simple SSL’ to redirect everyone to https. Not sure if adding another redirect for sending all mobile visitors to AMP will create any problem or not.
