All assigned roles, including the administrator. There are 2 custom roles assigned to users. Neither of them can write in the topic body, and neither can the Administrator. All roles can click the “New topic” button and type into the topic title box, but not the body.
Sorry, correction, overlap the page header, not page.
oh yes apologies, I’m using the Ultimate Member theme and widgets in this case.
I just took a screenshot but I don’t see an option to post a screenshot in this reply, and it won’t let me drag it in here. Its not a specific widget. I have my widgets on the right side, and they all seem to overlap the pages. That’s only in the content sidebar, the profile sidebar is fine and stays under the page.- This reply was modified 3 years, 1 month ago by naslash.
It also overlaps the user header menu, so that menu is blocked at all times. Also I noticed this is only when using the content sidebar. Profile sidebar is fine, the widgets stay under the menu.

Is there a way I could place widgets on both the left and right side of the page? I see the UM theme only allows one content side bar, and I can move that to the left or right, but can I have a different one for each side? If I could do that on the activity page then that should also solve the space issue at the same time.
I tried using Beaver Builder to change all of the above, but even with that it wouldn’t work. When I change all the text color of a page using Beaver and publish it, once I go to the actual page, only the UM accent color changes.
Also activity’s content section can decrease in width, but I can’t increase it.Yes that worked! Thank you!!
I actually did try that, and I just tried it again to double check, it still did not work.
I forgot to mention, when creating each forum, I made sure to allow the specified user roles to create new topics and replies, but still does not work.
Using the following documentation, I enabled all author capabilities. This did not solve the problem though.
