@vhsreptile, I went ahead and examined the part of code suggested by @demerit (lines 1135 – 1165 in class-ms-model-communication.php). I wound up just deleting the entire if statement referenced. I’m not getting duplicate emails even with that code removed and emails successfully go through. I know it may not be the wisest solution editing the source in that instance, but just wanted to inform you guys that I had success sending emails with this method).

solved…although my databases strangely disappeared…

figured out how to reach the virtualhost info (which apparently I did do, but have no memory of), and deleted the host rather than adding one.

Thanks for the reply. I haven’t made any changes to httpd.conf. I didn’t configure any sort of virtualhost…all I did (or all I thought I did) was direct MAMP to my project folder.
