In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] Form Error MessageI should add that on the backend of my site it states “The MailPoet Sending Service did not send your latest email because the address [email protected] [that isn’t my actual email; I’m keeping it out of prying eyes] is not yet authorized.”
Yet when I go to my account on Mailpoet’s website under ‘My Authorized Email’, it shows on the bottom left of the screen that my email address is ‘(authorized)’.
Ah, the good ole fun technical stuff I know absolutely nothing about (I’m being a tad humble). Let me be your Grasshopper…teach me? ;-p
Overjoyed and yelling hurray (not really; more like Goddayum&^%$#&*!), yours,
Grasshopper

In reply to: [User Post Gallery - UPG] Not well designed.Yes, @odude you should consider creating an EASY & ADVANCE switch mode for WordPress admins as the vast majority are not developers with advanced knowledge of CSS, JS, or HTML, like this user above and myself.
Since suggesting that feature, have you put any time into considering adding it to your plugin? If that were the case, I’m sure your plugin would get thousands of downloads and you could enter it into Codecanyon or another retail marketplace and earn revenue from it. I WOULD BUY IT!
As it stands, there is no plugin that does the function that your plugin offers, however, it’s a very difficult learning curve for most admins. I do hope you consider what you yourself had suggested in making it much more user-friendly.
I give you 5 stars for the creation and functionality, for developers, but not for admins to use with little to no coding knowledge.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] In one word, NO! Please read FULL review@karmatosed Less is always best when it comes to clicks as far as the editor is concerned. You can look to the current TinyMCE editor to learn how streamlined and intuitive it is without having to click as much, for instance, in Gutenberg.
As far as relocating the + symbol, I would suggest placing that and all other functionality in the top center position.
But as far as making Gutenberg a core permanent feature, it needs quite a bit more work to make the workflow considerably more intuitive, and the many items I’ve outlined may help to do that, in no way should anyone be forced to use this on WP when what we have currently works much better.
@matt I appreciate the developers trying to revamp the editor, but again, if what works now isn’t broken and is working great, there’s no need for a replacement, especially in light of the hundreds, and potentially thousands of WP user not wanting this forced upon us.
@jamieedwards the TinyMCE would be great if it were included, but everything else would require a revamp to make the editor streamlined like it is now.
