Check that you’ve not got the “GZIP Output” plugin installed.

After trying to get WP Super Cache working for a few days with no apparent problems that I could see, disabling the GZIP Output plugin solved it instantly for me. As WP Super Cache includes compression anyway, the GZIP Output plugin is no longer required.

I’ve now managed to fix this on my site — trial and error showed that the Enhanced Contact Form (v2.2.3) and wp-Typogrify (v1.6.1) plugins were conflicting. Disabling the wp-Typogrify plugin brought the contact form back again.

There is a new version of wp-Typogrify, now renamed wp-Typography (v1.5).

Uninstalling the old plugin and installing the new one retains all the cool functionality without conflicting with the Contact Form plugin.

Thanks for the advice, I’ve now installed WP Super Cache and I’m very happy with it, it’s working perfectly and it’s very fast.

Cheers for the advice, I uninstalled wp-cache and now I’m giving super wp-cache a go and so far it seems to be working beautifully, even better than wp-cache was before.
