In reply to: WordPress repositoriesOk I have got the cost part. But had no idea that hosting JS and CSS in sites like CDNJS and jsdelivr had costs involved. Thanks
But please do keep this option in mind for the future. I am sure that a large number of users like me could contribute to this and given the fact that WordPress powers more than 24% of websites, the amount per user would not be substantial. These are just top of the mind thoughts and of course I do not know what it really involves. You guys would really be the best judge in evaluating its cost and benefit.
Thanks again

In reply to: WordPress repositoriesI can understand that. I am talking of the core WordPress JS and CSS. If the was a kind of official WordPress repositories in CDNJS or JSDELIVR with proper versions it would be of immense help to the users. For example, Jquery is hosted by these repositories which is used by a fairly large number of sites. The problem with using some of the existing ones is that we have to dig into the getting the versions used by WordPress for each of the JS and many a times even the supposedly same versions do not exactly match the ones used by WordPress
Yes that’s a real pain…have you found a waay out
Any updates on this. I face a similar issue i.e with picture uploads in the front with rtmedia and buddypress activity plus. The icon for upload is there but it simply does not respond

In reply to: [Buddypress Friend of a Friend (FOAF)] FlawHi
With the upgrade:
1) The first issues seems to have been solved…but another peculiar issues has cropped up… A user has a friend his name also come up as a FOAF…..not quite what you intended I believe.2) What I have done is coded in function.php so that others would not be able to view the admin…but still in this plugin the admin’s name also appears as FOAF..not quite what I intended…is there any way I can integrate my work with yours.

In reply to: [WP Cloudy] Date not displayingHi Rainbowgeek
1) I found that it is indeed possible to display the date by a modification of your plugin.
2) I am waiting for the future release so that these changes can also be reflected…I don’t know too much about this API and how it works by the openweather site does give a lot of additional info. Hope to get all those as well
Thanks

In reply to: adminbar for mobileHi CW
I forgot to mention that I am a novice. While I understand that such a procedure should be done with hooks, I was specifically looking at getting help in the js coding for mobiles.
Help in this would be appreciated.
