In reply to: Placed adsense code incorrectly and now site is gone! Help!As in the moderator (controller) of this forum – they are more experienced with problems wp users face.
Might I suggest you to delete your wordpress and start from scratch, its the only way possible to get it working again.

In reply to: CAN NOT figure out themesErm I’m confused, I dont know how that could be possible. Delete the directory off your web server and re-install wordprss through your ftp.
1. Fill out web hosting details on ftp and connect
2. Highlight files from your local directory(computer) and drag it to your web hosts /htdocs or /public_html.
4. Set up a database.
3. Complete the Configure file, Run Install.. keep your wordpress themes as default and check your web host directory if the wordpress file is actually installed in there, check all your folders!
Then open another webpage and type your website https://www.example.com.
That process is clear and concise, I’ve installed wordpress on my domains about 20-30 times no problems.
Keep us updated ??

In reply to: WordPress 2.7 -> 2.71 upgrade login problem, new userHi, I have a similar problem but I’ve installed wordpress on my web host for other domains before. I keep getting this warning message when running the installation after configure file:
Warning: require(E:\domains\y\your-design-inspirations.com\user\htdocs/wp-includes/functions.wp-scripts.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in E:\domains\y\your-design-inspirations.com\user\htdocs\wp-includes\script-loader.php on line 20
I’m not sure what’s affecting it but anyone have a clue?
Thanks.

In reply to: CAN NOT figure out themesIt should work unless you’ve entered your web host details wrong in the ftp program. Once you installed wordpress on your public_html, you can upload your theme via the ftp program in the original themes folder. I can stress how frustrating it must be though, I was on the same stick as you but if you play around with the settings it’ll work.

In reply to: Placed adsense code incorrectly and now site is gone! Help!Ummm.. You should have placed that code via a wp adsence plugin. But that’s all I can say really. Before you change anything on your themes in the future, make sure you copy and paste the original on a notepad just in case as back up.
Mods should be able to help you though.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Help finding a theme that looks like this:I also have the same question but for a website like this: https://www.tipped.co.uk
I really want to create my own exclusive wordpress theme but I’m running out of time on my current project, was meant to launch Jan 09 but learning web design and wordpress has been quite new although my knowledge is 50/50. I can do CSS and HTML like a piece of cake, but I need help with wordpress, the contents of https://www.tipped.co.uk, how can I do that on wordpress or do I just simply use a plugin. I need the inside pages to be exactly like this: https://www.tipped.co.uk/listings/135327/tea-smith.
Some please help me, its very urgent.
Thank you.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Need a theme with front page that doesn’t changeThis is from the top of my head. You can design your front page how ever you want, but if you want to post on other categories, you simply choose which category to place it in as long as it doesnt say ‘Home’.
So you can still access the inside pages from the menu.Forum: Themes and Templates
