This doesn’t answer my question though. I understand what this code does. I am asking if I want to segment via WP categories, how do I modify this to do that?

I figured out the issue. It was another plugin.

I see that now, perhaps I did. But that isn’t intuitive, because it does not match standard WP behavior. For example, the bulk buttons on the top and bottom of the plugins page or the posts page both do the same thing.

If you want to perform an all action like that on the posts page for example, you just have to set the screen options to show all posts at once.

I’ll be more careful next time but i would suggest you either make it match standard WP behavior or make the language used in the warning clearer, something along the lines of “This will delete your entire 404 error log.”

A custom template.

I have the opposite problem using the Gutenberg Avatar Lists block.

Every time I go to open the page in edit view again, certain settings are unset and I have to reset them before saving the page again.

I have Select by Role(s) selected but the checkbox I checked (author) is unchecked.

I also had selected to show name and bio with the avatar but these items are also unchecked.

All of the settings below these checkboxes remain as I previously selected.

I don’t know if the following is relevant but I also have debugging turned on and these notices appear when I edit the page containing this block or the page itself:

We weren’t able to resolve it.

The client has a subdomain with Backwpup installed on it and it works fine, so it isn’t the host. I tried deactivating all plugins on the site and reactivating them one by one and it did not deactivate. I tried running another backup now and it has not deactivated again. So maybe it is resolved. I will keep an eye on it.

Just to be clear, I want to use shortcodes but get the same styles I get when I look at a category’s page. We need to add some other text between the downloads on the page so I can’t just use the category page as is.

I thought about that at first, but I always get images in emails so it isn’t that.

I’m asking about the DEFAULT for the plugin as a whole. It says it is set on the settings page, but there are multiple settings pages for the plugin and I don’t find anything labeled as “default contact” in those settings.

And I should add that originally it looks like in my original post I had the wrong url. Sorry about that. But the problem is still there.
