Tried to edit my front page with custom html and then it didn’t work.
So I tried to go back to Visual Editor and it will not render any choices to do this.
Very bad update.

Same thing for me too. Manually moved site also by unzipping the wpclone to see if this works, but nothing works.
the plugin connection gets reset or other problems when using the plugin on my new wordpress install
OR
in the manual cloning by replacing the wpcontents, database.sql and updating the database correctly to new domain – keeps reverting back to the wordpress 5 step new install.

can’t get my wpclone zip file to work at all.

My site restored to an older theme version works fine and theme author edited theme as well. I didn’t see where they fixed the upgrade.
Support is important especially since wp updates continually.

Yes, it did the same thing with my site – even after the author fixed a few things.
Wonder if they are going to fix the update.
I will also have to restore an older version just to have my site back.

I put in a support ticket and flythemes did indeed help with the excerpts. They fixed it, so I do not know how they deleted this excerpt summary part out. BUT as to your box images? Please make sure each page uses a featured image the exact SAME SIZE (just emphasizing, not yelling)(this is on each page edit area, right side on the bottom to add a featured image for your page, pick image, then update page. This size I used was 160×160 px each. I resized all my images in MS Paint – or their photo resize feature. However you get all homepage boxes picked out in the customizer, just make sure those pages have the exact same size image. Then that will look uniform.

I actually see this now – I had a website first that was pre-built and for some odd reason ‘clashed’ with the mobile look.
After I deleted it and started fresh.
Now I reset all and have your theme right out of the gate and it IS fantastic on the android phone.

1. Yes, I did enter these ID #s that appear only in the editing browser of my site.
2. Featured image to post? Yes, I did – not the correct size yet – testing theme before I go to that much work in resizing all images. post also has content. Good? or NO Content is best?
3. Click the edit button doesn’t take me to my post – instead my site goes to the customize window (as if previewing a theme) and asks me to log in – which is to no avail either)

OK – no slider.

I have the Slider Content circle checked off – should this be off?
the rest is set to the defaults – 4 posts, fade, 4 sec., 1 sec.

I have the Front page post categories set – should this be disabled? I have tried it both ways and nothing makes a difference.

I do not have a cache plugin on. I have tried 12 different themes already, and yours comes the closest for what I want – simple + an image slider.

Hello – I found this thread not sure there was another similar one that answers my question in conjunction to here:
Can you unzip the duplicator file and delete out the subdomains that do not need to be re-installed, rezip and then have the wordpress site re-install without deleting subdomains that were deleted from the package?
Or will this totally erase the subdomains there when installing?
I duplicated my Main WP on a root public.html and Everything is in this zip file.
I figure if I just delete out what doesn’t need to be re-installed, the other files in my root public html will be left alone.

Yes, all issues that I had experienced has been resolved with latest version 1.77.
I have used the latest version several times on different sites with great results.
Also – I have viewed my sites on Tablets, Android cell phones and desktop PC (no Mac or apple device)
All looks great and responds fine.

I commend you for working through this.
I already tore down the sites.
They only had the standard plugins that WP 3.8.1 (latest version downloaded directly from repository)
I did NOT activate anything except your theme.
So all three were a clean new install and nothing changed except in downloading and activating your theme.

Ok – I can do another demo site and give you login to explore.
No biggie on my part –
I am in U.S. eastern standard time – and I can do this in a bit.

I have updated the doc file to show the new fresh install problem that is still dealing with the header issue.

Brand new install using ftp or softaculous
either way – the problem persists
I will have to refrain from using until there is a solution.
