Yesterday I received email notification from the Broken Link Checker plugin that one of my blogs had 244 links with 400 or 403 errors plus another 173 links with 403 quotaExceeded errors.

I ran that site through the Online Broken Link Checker, which didn’t come up with a single error.

Needless to say, I deactivated the BLC plugin.

I will keep an eye an the WordPress Directory for updates on fixing the problem.

I have also been receiving both 400 and 403 errors for the past week or so. I have been receiving them for links to Facebook, Quora, and my own websites.

My site is hosted on a LiteSpeed web server. I do not understand “restart the server after activating CompressX for the rewrite rule in .htaccess files to take effect.”

That is far too complicated. There are hundreds—perhaps thousands—of them.

Dark Visitors should have a default setting or recommendation for non-tech users like myself.

Please tell me which options you think I should activate to protect a blog.

I went to my QUIC.cloud account and found that I have to change my nameservers to QUIC.cloud nameservers.

Last year, I made Cloudflare my registrar and, apparently, I cannot change the Cloudflare nameservers.

So, apparently, I cannot use QUIC.cloud or the LiteSpeed image optimization.

If there is a way around this, please let me know …

Thanks for the response but I am confused: my original question was “Do you know why the plugin misses all these broken links?”

So far, that question has not been answered—whether they are YouTube links or other links.

Is this normal or am I doing something wrong, like not having checked an option in the plugin’s settings?
