Thanks so much for responding; it’s not something I am used to on these support sites. Other plugins that may have an effect? The Jetpack subscription setting? Cloudflare? Nothing else.

Since deactivating Simple Firewall, I have been receiving the new registration notifications – although nowhere near as many as usual.

Any advice or suggestions will be followed . . .

I have three sites wIth three different themes. All with the same WordPress (4.2.4), all with the same plug-ins. On one I am using Amadeus (mostly love it!) and on one the default Twenty Fifteen theme.

I am having the same problem on all three sites with changes NOT showing up immediately – one widget change took ten hours to appear on my site!

I have viewed them on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox and have the same problem in each.

I have had at least one site for more than two years and never had this problem before. This may not be an Amadeus problem . . .

Well, I solved my problem: just add this bit of code to the Edit CSS option under Appearance in the Dashboard:

.post p {
line-height: 1.5em;
padding-bottom: 15px;
}

First time that I used code. Scary . . .
