  • I’m developing a site using WP 4.5.1 and installed Broken Link Checker last night. All seemed fine at first and I was able to see the report of broken links. However after about 15 mins I got a white screen with “error”.

I used FTP to rename the Broken Link Checker plug-in folder but still got the error. I then renamed the entire plugins folder and was then able to to log-in.

Of course all of the plug-ins were reported as having an error so I couldn’t uninstall any of them. I renamed the plugins folder to get them back and also renamed the Broken Link Checker folder back to normal and I could then see all the plugins in the admin area.

All the plugins were not activated so I first deleted the Broken Link Checker plugin before re-activating all of my plugins.

Now all is back to normal. I can only imagine that it was Broken Link Checker that caused the issue, however I don’t know why. I’m going to wait for the developer to update it to be fully compatible with 4.5 before attempting a re-install.

If anyone has any thoughts then please share. Thanks.

Many thanks for quick reply Jeroen.

I’ll look at that code and see if I can work out the best way forward.

This is just what I need as I have a similar issue – smaller items can have free delivery, but if a larger item is added then customer needs to pay the flat rate.

I have it working with one category, however not with two.

I’ve set-up an advanced free shipping method which has 2 conditions – Category = Drawings OR Category = Prints. If I have a product from either one of those categories then the Free Delivery is shown, however if I then add one of the others so that one from each category is in the cart, then the flat rate shipping rate is shown.

I then tried creating two separate method conditions, one for each of the conditions. Sadly that didn’t work either as both should enable free delivery, however it shows the flat rate shipping.

What am I doing wrong? I’ll keep playing with it, but any help would be much appreciated.
