Thanks marketingsense. I resolved this issue a long time ago, but just found that your responded to my question. It’s crazy that this problem is not addresses more clearly to those just starting out with wordpress.

What’s the point of these wordpress forums if no one ever is willing to answer the questions?

When ever I have a question, I first check the wordpress forums for answers. It seems like 70% of the questions are left un-answered. A bit rediculous indeed. It’s not like i’m asking a difficult question here. I just can not find an answer anywhere.

Update to my question: The check boxes are appearing properly in internet explorer. It’s firefox that the checkbox is showing on a different line than it’s corresponding text.

Thanks for the replies. Tomontoast, that seemed to do the trick. The aspect ratio seems to round off to the nearest amount, but it’s close enough. Thanks a bunch ??

Well it appears that I wasn’t loosing my mind after all. WordPress.com contacted me with this:

“I’m so sorry for the inconvenience – earlier today we unwittingly introduced some code with temporarily broke the sign-up process. This has all been fixed now and you should be able to sign-up for an account without any problems.”

Well, since it won’t let me create a wordpress.com account, how can i post my question in the wordpress.com forum? To ad a post, i need to be registered. And yes i did search for an answer.

My girlfriend can’t get it past the first page of the sign up process either (on a different computer, also with the cookies/cache deleted). This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. Call me a newbie all ya want, but this is rediculous.

Thanks. I know how to do a google search, but i’ve never seen a website that didn’t show the forum as a main category or atleast sub-category. Pretty strange.

Well, it appears that wordpress.com doesn’t even have a forum (as far as i can see), so I guess i have to wait days for a response from customer service. I can’t believe it won’t even let me create an account. I’ve NEVER had a problem like this with any other website.
