So, I have been disabling – Testing and enabling all CSS altering plugins… And still no dice nor a fix… ??

So, yeah… I’m still able to reproduce it… So, what css can cause this behavior?

Since I even went to my website and disabled the plugins that adjust CSS (SiteOrigin and the theme plugin) and nothing helped…

Can I share with you my plugin list…? (I want to mail this since I don’t want to expose myself to a security risk by posting the list of plugins I use online)

It’s working for me just fine on my WP 5.7 site. No complaints here.

I’m ahead of you there. I updated the ticket with my old Github account while you wrote this ??

The difference from the ticket you posted on GitHub from me is that I’m using a Lenovo laptop running the latest Windows10 20H2.

Thanks man! I should have taken screenshots… As an IT Admin I should have known. :/

Sadly enough, I can’t make screenshots now since JetPack has been succesfully connected by using Firefox and all the settings have been made. It’s on a live production site.

Anyways, I was using the latest version at the time of writing of JetPack.

I just took a look at the language files and got my answer. Barely 10% or so has been translated. Which explains a lot.

I’ll do that. Sadly enough, the listing of the plugins without searching still shows those long not updated plugins and such… But hey, maybe bumping / reviving those tickets might help.

I’m sorry for the late reply but I was able to fix it by excluding the url for it.

I purged the cache twice and I’m using the latest version… :/
I’m currently using another plugin and I had the same issue with “Dashicons” but “Themify icons” work flawlessly.

The 404’s I’m talking about in this thread is to a certain page of my website.

The name is named “Niet gevonden” what’s Dutch for “Not Found”.

But my website also uses links to external pages.

Update: It works whenever you don’t use the word ballon in another plugin. It breaks in eg: spoilers / tabs.

So, on the website I have two tabs… It works flawlessly for one but not for the other. Dunno why. :/

Well, it’s working but only half. I’m going to check if my text didn’t break with copying html code. Since it works on some tabs but not on all.

Edit: It’s working on one but not on the other.. Huh.

Edit 2: I added the CSS to the “custom css” part of the plugin and annoyingly, it works for only one of the two tabs… ??
