I know I reached and passed that step in the upgrade process. I’m sorry to sound so dim, but how would I check?

The database backup is one of the first steps the AU plugin does, so I think that happened.

It’s OK, it’s fixed. It was something to do with the hierarchy of parent and child pages.

Follow up — this is worse than I thought!

When I click on the Edit Post or Edit Page links, I am taken to the page when you usually edit, but nothing shows up in the actual post or page block, just the heading. When I look at the blog itself (https://www.communi-keys.com) it looks fine right up to the post I did last week. But in the dashboard nothing works. HELP!!!

It just happened today with this post. But when I read your reply I decided to see if it happened with other posts. First I tried again with this morning’s post and lo and behold it worked fine! I didn’t get the error message.

Maybe it’s just one of those annoying little glitches where you have to wait a bit and try again?

STVWIF, adding that line of code did the trick.

Thanks stvwlf, and one follow up question. If I do that won’t they come up on today’s date? Is there a way to get them in sequence for the date they were posted?

Thanks Pengki, it was just that simple! I unzipped the file and it worked. Since I’d had a similar problem with plugins, I tried unzipping them and that worked too.
