hi and thank you. I just setup reCAPTCHA and it doesnt seem to be working. I get the recaptcha check box that I added to the form but it still says field required after I check it and try to submit

I just logged in and taking a look at the Plugins I only have the following: Alfred the Assistant, WPForms Lite and Yoast SEO. So it doesn’t appear I have any Spam Filters.

Which Spam Filters would you suggest?

Volunteering is great, if someone actually does the volunteer work. I’ve downloaded and gotten rid of about 5 more more themes now that I can’t even remember. Each one I’ve been told, nope can’t help you, go to the theme forum. Most of all those forums are useless and dead in the water. Go take a look. Posts not answered for months. What a waste of peoples time, I feel sorry for others in the same boat. Take a look at this forum, 9 months ago, 0 responses.

I really don’t get all the hooplah about how wonderful wordpress is… this is nuts!!

wow! so www.ads-software.com has many themes in the repository that the support forums are literally dead. no one there to answer any questions. And the authors are not required to use. So the user is stuck with a theme that is broke or doesn’t work right and no support and that is the end of it. You get sent to the support forum for the theme, no one there to help, you come back here and are told there is no support here. Wow I have to say this is really bad. And a bad experience for sure.

that makes no sense at all. So which themes are supported in the main forums? And why doesn’t someone clear out the themes that have no support on their forums since it just takes up space and wastes peoples time.

ok so I have posted at https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/nisarg/ last night and as I suspected, no replies. Actually there are still unanswered posts from a month or longer.

Anyone have any other ideas besides changing themes all over again?

really?? omg, that last time I tried that board they never got back. (bad experience) they still have unanswered posts from a month ago or longer. No disrespect but how hard is something this simple to do in WordPress??. In html sites, i’d have this done in less than a minute! LOL Bte, the excerpt field doesn’t work to fix this either…

Hi, thanks for responding. Yes I went back to our other design. Using wordpress just isnt working out for me, and moving way too slow with getting the help needed to get our site up and running fast.

One huge main reason, was using WooCommerce with Storefront Theme. We need UPS and USPS but at $79.00 ea Annually just too much for us to spend. The theme we have right now, with the Shopping Cart, the UPS and USPS service setup is free with the software we use.

Thanks for trying to get back though. We still might use a WordPress theme for a blog for our site later on down the road though

Sorry guys, I give up with WP.org. I have several Posts that never have been answered, very frustrating when your trying to get your business running fast. Sometimes all you need is a very simple yes or no question answered but I’m not getting anywhere. Going back to my old site design, much easier. Best of luck to everyone.
