In reply to: Created a network, multiple blogs not working…alright, now that worked !
now, next problem…
since there are 3 blogs, how do I differentiate between them ?the news.php page needs to load the news updates,
diary.php the diary updates and so on….Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Created a network, multiple blogs not working…I worked using this method
https://www.deluxeblogtips.com/2010/05/multisite-wordpress-30.html
So, everything works until this bit, under “Create and manage new site”
Once new site is created, you can visit it via new address (for example: https://localhost/wp/test). It looks like a normal WordPress blog.If I do this, it just says there is no page there present.
I did have to use an iirf.ini instead of a .htaccess (server wont allow this).
Not sure if this has anything to do with it ?Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Created a network, multiple blogs not working…what I meant was that I created 4 databases in mysql on the server,
but apparently this is not needed ?Fortherestless is the main site, which was created when installing wordpress in the forms folder.
To be honest I have no use for it (yet). In the “My sites”panel it is set as the primary site,
fortherestless.com/formsthe others are
fortherestless.com/forms/diary
fortherestless.com/forms/newz
fortherestless.com/forms/eventsI have an existing site, and news diary and tour is updated by editing the html.
I want to replace them with blogs, so that I can type, add photos in a form and post them through there.I installed wordpress in the forms folder, and named it fortherestless so yes it is in the root.
Hope this helps ?
