i have redesigned my Contact-Form. Multi-Step is no longer needed. PDF Creation now works properly. I couldn’t get it to word with Multi Step…

I see that your Demo ist working. But do you have any idea why the textfields in my form are no longer visible in the PDF after updating from Version 0.9.9.6 to anything higher than 1.0…..

Any help or hint is really appreciated.

Just a quick follow up: Today i installed Version 1.0.2.4 on my test website. Sadly it still doesn’t work properly. No textfield inputs are beeing submitted to the PDF.

I’ve just installed Version 1.0.1.9 on my Test-Site. Unfortunaltely the bug is still there. All data from the textfields in the form is missing. Only the data from checkboxes and radiobuttons can be seen in the PDF created. If i look at the data in Flamingo it’s all there. If you’d like to test it on your own, i can give you access. The Testsite is not open to the public.

The Form consists of three CF7 Forms that are connected together with the “Contact Form 7 Multi-Step Forms” The PDF is created after the last of the three Forms is filled and sent.

If you need more information, just let me know. With version 0.9.9.6 of your plugin everything works fine and the textfields are printed in the PDF.

Hi @bojankatusic

i tried updating again from 4.4.3.4 to 4.5.2 using the WordPress Update function for plugins. That didn’t work- even after cleaning all caches. So i switched back to 4.4.3.4 and deactivated the Plugin and renamed the folder in the /plugins directory. Next i installed 4.5.2 and activated it. And now it works. There is no more broken design.

Florent, do you have any idea what the problem could be? I’m still having trouble with PDF-Files not beeing sent. In about 3 to 4 out of 10 Mails sent the PDF is missing. I have no idea, what causes that problem.

i think i’ve solved it. After some trial and error i finally found the correct CSS rules for my styling problem. Thank you again for your help – it showed me the right way.

thanks for your support. It woul be great if you can take a look. Because i’m not the CSS specialist… Here are the custom CSS rule i’m using in your Plugin:

I have tried to add additional CSS for the two classes mentioned above – some extra padding and font sizes in the result list – but that didn’t work. Here is what i added:

}
.asl_desc {
    margin-top: 5px;
    font-size: 14px;

I think i did find the error. On all the affected websites i did find the following code on the functions.php of the Theme in use:

strangely enough all the funtions.php files in the affected site were changed on the same date – so I think an update of a plugin might habe been the reason.

After commenting out that code all the forms are working porperly again.

unfortunatley it does.

Currently i use WordPress Version 5.5.3

I have the same problem on various sites i made… When trying to send with not beeing logged in theres always that 401 error.
