In reply to: In Need Of Serious Help (Home Page Gone Bonkers)Deactivating and reactivating my theme fixed the issue of the ads on the secondary page. They are back to showing properly.
My site appears to display fine on my mobile device. Here is a link to the pic. Notice the front page is showing Covergirl ads- as it should, not Adsense ads.
https://twitpic.com/9mryyjCan’t explain it, the home page settings are what is messing up the ads.
Ran similar test on brownsista.com/blog and when I changed the “Home” pages template, the ads last night became Adsense ads.

In reply to: In Need Of Serious Help (Home Page Gone Bonkers)I hope there is still someone here willing to help me.
I think I have made some sort of breakthrough and unfortunately a set back all at the same time
Earler kmessinger mentioned my “Interviews” page and not being able to see it. I decided to mess around with its settings and by setting the “Template” under “Page Attributes” to “Homepage” I was able to make it look and behave just like my front page- ads showing perfectly.
Now I am using a magazine style theme that requires me to use a static page I created called “Home.” So I went to look at the “Home” page’s settings and realized it was set to “Default Template.” So I changed it to “Home Page” and well, it didn’t work out the same way as the “Interviews” page did. It continued to display my messed up home page- the one where you see all those Google Adsense ads. Even worse, my secondary pages that were showing the correct ads are now showing the google ads as well.
I attempted to return all setting as they were but to no avail. Long story short, the page settings or something along that area is the culprit here.
If anyone has any info that could help me I would appreciate it.

Theme Diva & Forum ModeratorThe problem as it turned out was the ad codes.
The issue isn’t fully worked out, but with new ad codes I was able to get most of the ads back up and running.Thank you and kmessinger for doing all you could to help me ??

In reply to: In Need Of Serious Help (Home Page Gone Bonkers)I started a test blog and had some really weird finding using my custom theme. Last night all the ads showed up excepted the leadeboard at the top. This morning I was finally able to get all the ads to show up and then when I closed down my text editor (html kit) all the ads vanished.
Could some settings in html kit be the issue? I have been using it forever.

In reply to: In Need Of Serious Help (Home Page Gone Bonkers)Oh that must be the Meagan Good article. It shows fine to me.
Anyway, I have switched my theme back because Liquid Web said they are sure the theme(s) aren’t the problem.
They have also wiped their hands of the situation, saying it is out of the realm of what they do.
Were the ads only screwing up in one place, I would at least know where to begin. But because the problem is so vast and keeps changing, I am lost.

In reply to: In Need Of Serious Help (Home Page Gone Bonkers)As for that video link? Did you see that code on my site? Maybe it was a part of some ad. I have no idea what it is. I didn’t have any videos on my front page.

In reply to: In Need Of Serious Help (Home Page Gone Bonkers)First, let me thank you all for continuing to help me through this very difficult ordeal ??
I moved the ad code within the head tag and no change at all.
Also, it isn’t just the header ad, which is what I have up now for testing purposes (Liquid Web told me to take the site down to it’s bare bones). It was all the ads I had on the front page, which included a leaderboard at the top and bottom and 2 box size ads in the sidebar and one skyscraper in the sidebar.

In reply to: In Need Of Serious Help (Home Page Gone Bonkers)Here are my latest findings after re-installing the themes folder. I have successfully added the ad code to the header and in PREVIEW mode via the admin panel you see the ads. Even after refeshing multiple times the ads do not vanish on TwentyTen and TwentyEleven.
Sadly, once activated the ads vanish and can no longer be seen.
So the mystery is what happens once a theme goes live? Somewhere something goes bad.
If I can discover that I think this problem will be solved.

In reply to: In Need Of Serious Help (Home Page Gone Bonkers)No it isn’t, I agree. But at this point, everyone is saying it’s not them. My host has stopped responding to me and Gorilla Nation, the company whose ads are my bread and butter, say their code isn’t the issue either. They sent me new code and that didn’t work.
Feeling completely lost at the moment.

In reply to: In Need Of Serious Help (Home Page Gone Bonkers)My host put up a test page and added the code which works fine: https://brownsista.com/test/index.php

In reply to: In Need Of Serious Help (Home Page Gone Bonkers)I have considered that, but again, no ads by any network I try works out. Ads from Gorilla Nation, and they just sent me new tags, BET, AOL, Tribal Fusion, Value Click, Adgroups, all the ads will show and then vanish.
The only ad that shows on the front page continuously is Google Adsense.

In reply to: In Need Of Serious Help (Home Page Gone Bonkers)I just spent the last hour re-uploading the themes folder, wp-admin and wp-includes.
I’m confused right now. The ads aren’t showing up continuously on any theme. I couldn’t even get them to show up on Twenty Eleven.
I re-uploaded my brownsista theme still nothing.
Right now I am confused, tired and unemployed without my ads showing.
I never thought this problem would last 3 days.

In reply to: In Need Of Serious Help (Home Page Gone Bonkers)One of my debuggers shows this `SCRIPT1010: Expected identifier
brownsista.com, line 2 character 9`Is it possible for you to explain this to me? What file would I have to look into to investigate this particular error?
