In reply to: [Hamilton] Pictures not shown in full width (gallery)I’m having this same problem, too.
I have an Envira image gallery that the theme confines to 560px. The gallery’s settings are for full page width. I attempted to force full width with the Additional CSS with no luck.

In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Slider broken after 3.3.6 updateRight you are!
My host’s control panel says my site is running PHP version 5.6, but it turns out I’m running 5.3.
Thank you for sending the link to the previous version.

In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Slider broken after 3.3.6 updateI’m having the same problem. Updated to 3.3.6 this afternoon and now I’m getting the same error as @olena: “Smart Slider 3 requires PHP version 5.4+, plugin is currently NOT RUNNING.”
I’m running PHP version 5.6
Could you tell me where the already created sliders are stored on my server, since I’m not presently able to use the plugin to export them?
I see. The text is described as “Title” in the screen where one enters that info for each image, but this text is placed using the “Caption Position” in the Lightbox Settings.
If its not a setting I can adjust in Envira does anyone know if its something I could change within the wp install or my them?
Dunno if its relevant or helpful, but the titles stop at 62 characters.
Yep. That did the trick.
Thanks so much for your help!
Mmmm. Ok. I double checked the setting on my browser. Set to show hidden files? Yep. I unchecked this option, then checked it again and then suddenly the .htaccess file appeared in the root directory. And there doesn’t seem to be one in the duplicate testing directory.
I opened the .htacess file locally, in text edit, and its blank. Should I copy this file over to the new directory to solve the issue?
There doesn’t seem to be an .htacess file in either the root install directory or the test directory. Which is weird because both are running with cleaned up permalinks. I have my ftp browser set to show hidden files, but no sign of the file.

In reply to: Weird permalink glitch- blog posts being assigned nonexistent url.Okay, I played with the structure some and am getting closer to a solution.
Sorry if I posted prematurely- I should heed the advice “look with your eyes, not with your mouth” and read up before I post!

In reply to: Weird permalink glitch- blog posts being assigned nonexistent url. Thanks for the suggestion.
I switched back to default and the problem went away. I’ll read up on permalinks again.
For the purposes of this post, though, I’ll keep the custom permalink if anyone wants to click on the link and see the issue I’m talking about.
I had this same problem too. Fortunately its an easy fix.
From the dashboard, go to Gallery>Manage Gallery. You should see the gallery (and any others you have created) listed, with a checkbox and ID # to the left of each gallery. Simply check the box next to the name of your gallery and select “Resize images” from the action drop down menu. If you haven’t previously specified image dimensions then you’ll be given a width and height box to fill in. Once this is complete just hit the “Apply” button to the right of the drop down and all the images in the gallery will be resized.
While resizing after the fact is easy enough, you can avoid this little chore in the future by setting NextGen to resize the images upon upload. From the dashboard go to Gallery>Options>Images. On this screen you will see a number of settings, including height and width attributes as well a box to check to “Automatically resize” images.
I hope that helps- please let me know if you have any questions.
