Form fields – username – display and required – missing from the form on the webpage where I have the shortcode placed.

I tried disabling all other plugins but sill didn’t appear.

Registered Username
Use the registered username as the post author. This should be enabled only when requiring log-in for submissions.

User Profile URL
Use the registered user’s Profile URL as the post URL. This should be enabled only when requiring log-in for submissions.

I require login for submission and have both of these enabled but they don’t appear in the form or in the submission post.

I was just getting ready to close this post. I found a plugin that works, it’s called Email Templates – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/email-templates/

As I mentioned, the theme uses the default registration and login from wp so the theme people would have told me to come here anyway.

It reformatted the default wp emails and I was able to put in my logo, footer, etc. Works great and was exactly what I was looking for. I just wish I found it 6 hours ago!

I understand that but the theme uses the default registration and login features of WordPress, there is no custom form, log-page, or anything like that. That’s why I asked here.
