Cais, thank you – your help is very much appreciated.
A few more details:
If I hover over the yellow caution sign it says HTTP Error. The NextGEN link is what you have to put in your page to “link” to a certain gallery, e.g. [nggallery ID=10]. If I click on the green square icon to put in that “link” (even if I know it is not really a link – sorry, don’t have a better word for that :-)) the above listed error message appears. If I type in the “link” by hand to add a gallery to my post it works fine and I can see the gallery.
The progress indicator seems to indicate a value how much of the overall task (uploading images) is already done. For me it looks like that – after the first upload fails – the estimate is re-calculated and therefore the indicator “jumps” and goes back and forth after each failed upload.
I hope I could precise the issue a little bit more. Again, your help and support is very much appreciated – thank you for that!
Best regards, Olaf
In addition – I tried IE11 as well as Google Chrome 35.0.1916.114 m
Of course I will do and apologize – even if I figured that it seems to be exactly the same issue.
Will open a new topic.
In addition to what I posted above I figured that I can’t paste a NextGen link into one of my posts. It ends up with a error message saying “Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post.”
Thanks again, Olaf
I’m actually facing the same issue. I was updating WP to 3.9.1 and at the same time I updated NextGen to 2.0.66
I can create a new Gallery, but I can’t upload any images – neither one or more. The progress indicator jumps also back and forth – it seems to make progress, but than it jumps back from for instance 10% to 4% and so on… After all I also see the yellow caution sign and a error message saying that no images were uploaded.
Thank you very much in advance – your help is very much appreciated!
Best regards, Olaf
