In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] using pagebuilderHi (@mimzy2012,
Thanks for contacting us!
Smart Slider 3 is working well with the most used page builders like Elementor, Divi, Beaver builder or Gutenberg as you can see in our documentation: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1362-does-smart-slider-3-work-with-my-page-builder
You can create a block or Smart Slider module. Which page builder are you using?

In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Traslate slide text in 3 languageHi @zesco,
You should duplicate your original slider, and change its text. In this case that slider will be a new one, so it will have another shortcode, what you can use. So you should create 3 sliders for the 3 languages, and every slider will have its unique shortcode.
“To set up a post generator with WordPress Multilingual Plugin, you need to create your post slider, while you are logging in your backend in the language on which you want your slider to be.”
This is useful if you create a dynamically changing post slider from your post:
https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/139-wordpress-posts-generator
So if you have a static slider, you don’t need to login again.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Traslate slide text in 3 languageHi @zesco!
If you are using WPML plugin, then you should simply duplicate your slider, translate the texts and publish the slider with the corresponding language to the associated pages/posts.
https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/336-how-can-i-use-the-slider-with-multilanguage-pluginsWPML will handle the content of your site, and it should load only the content in the actual language. So if you have 3 sliders in different languages, WPML should handle it, and it won’t load the 3 sliders in the same time, so your page won’t be slower.

In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Smart slider problemHi @arnaudv33,
Can you please make a plugin conflict test?
https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1569-how-to-do-a-plugin-theme-conflict-test
You could try deactivating all of your plugins but Smart Slider 3 and see if that solves the problem. If it works that way, enable your plugins one by one or in small groups to find the one that has the error. And you can try to reinstall Smart Slider 3, delete it from your plugin list, and install it again.

Don’t worry, your sliders will stay!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] background picture not movingHi @keldn,
Thanks for contacting us!
Unfortunately, in the free version we don’t have an option for that. However, if you change the main animation to fade, you can achieve a similar result.
In the pro version we have a slider background feature:
https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1579-where-can-i-find-the-slider-background
and this background will be behind your slides.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Add text layer to all slidesIf you want to put the same text on all slides, in this case I can suggest to create a static overlay, and put your text layer on it.
https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1316-how-to-create-a-static-overlay-which-is-above-the-slidesThe layers you will put on this static slide will be always over your other slides without moving away, while the other slides can move behind it.
If you want to use different texts with the same design settings, you can copy your layer, and paste it into your other slide, and after that you can change the text.

In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Correct Responsive Mode settingsHi @vytaulla51!
If you are using auto responsive mode https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/398-responsive-mode-auto
then the slider can be as big as the container it’s in. So I can suggest using this mode. If you don’t want your slider to be upscale, you can disable the Upscale option at the Slider settings -> Size tab.You can let the maximum screen widths in default, because these are the most common breakpoints. And with auto responsive mode your slider will fit its container.
I think the combined mode is the best because in this case on computers the screen size will matter, on tablets and phones the real device detection.
You can read more about responsive settings in our documentation, maybe it can help you too:
https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/214-responsive-modeAnd you can use the Text layer, where you can use a Desktop, Tablet and Mobile text as well: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/362-text-layer
But you can hide layers in different devices at the layer window. If you will have any issues, please send us a link where we can check it! If you prefer to do this privately please send us a support ticket: https://smartslider3.com/contact-us/support/

In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Problema en mi pagina luego de actualizar el pluginHi @carlitos1004!
500 Internal Server errors are happening, when there is a server limitation reached or there is a PHP error. To avoid common problems, like not all our files are uploaded on the FTP, please try a reinstallation. You should just go to your Plugins list, delete your current Smart Slider 3 (don’t worry, your sliders will stay) and install it again through your FTP:
https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/55-wordpress-installation#ftp
and if you would use for example Filezilla, that would write out if not all the files are getting uploaded and you can retry to upload them again. If this wouldn’t solve the problem either, 500 errors are just “catch all” error messages, so they aren’t telling you the cause, they are just telling you there is a problem and the server host has an error log, which contains the real error message. You should contact your server host and ask them for that log, also ask them to take a look at it, because a common server error is, that the memory_limit is reached and in that case your server host would be able to increase that value.
If the error log won’t show a server limitation to be reached, but it is a PHP code related error, please send us a support ticket: https://smartslider3.com/contact-us/support/
and send us the error log and we will tell you what’s going on!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Make caption fit screen?Hi @redbricks!
Are you using Content editing mode? (https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1430-tutorial-video-content-mode) When content editing mode is used, your slide’s height is based on the layers. But if you are using Canvas editing mode, it can happen that your Layers cut off. (https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1479-how-can-i-move-my-layers-freely-on-the-canvas)
You can use the font-size modifier to make your text lower: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1403-why-arent-my-texts-getting-smaller-with-the-slider#font-size-modifier
If you switch to mobile view on the top, and click on your layer, you can modify your font size with this function, and it is device specific, so the font-size of the other devices will not change. And can you send us a link to your website where we can check your slider? In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Smart Slider 3 as Header on all pages (Blog etc)Hi @unlambda!
You can copy your sliders shortcode from the Slider settings -> Publish tab and paste it to the WP menu -> Post- > Categories -> Edit Category -> Description

In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Smart Slider 3 as Header on all pages (Blog etc)Hi @unlambda!
I’m not that familiar with OceanWP so I can rather suggest you contact with their support.
If the Theme can add the description to the Category page, you can add a shortcode there: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/150-publish-on-wordpress#shortcode

In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Images Loaded by Posts?Hi @lestexas60!
Thanks for contacting us!
Yes, you can create a post slider, you should just create a Dynamic slide. You can choose the WordPress Post generator -> Post by IDs option and after that you can customize your content.
In our documentation you can find written tutorial and video tutorial as well, I think it will help you: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/139-wordpress-posts-generator
Best regards,
