We are not sure what exactly are you upset about, but I can assure you plugin is not a scam. It is working fine if you follow the instructions.

Both free and premium versions are fully functional and getting regular updates.

It would be very helpful if you tell us what exactly is not working or what error message you are getting. There could be many different issues or errors, and we can’t help you without knowing which one you got.

Twitter made a change to its API. Starting from July 15, 2022 every app must be in the Project.

As we said (right in the plugin’s description), we took almost 2 years break with the plugin support and development. We are sorry for that, but no one was looking at tickets 9 months ago. Plugin is back now, so we can fix your issue if you want.

As I just said. Yes, a lot was changed. Latest version is using Twitter API v2. This is the only API that currently available for free without any approvals from Twitter.

Twitter gives no way for us to check if app is “new” or “old”. Also, both “new” and “old” apps are working fine everywhere we tested them. Obviously you and few other people have something breaking it, that we don’t know yet. As soon as someone will be willing to let us check, we will fix it.
