Ok, apparently the Bad Behavior plugin was not the culprit because after running fine for the last several weeks, today it is doing it again.

I will set up a temp pwd for you guy’s the take a look and assist.

I am starting over for the seventh time. I am using 1and1.com as my hoster, which I have another WP site on with no issues. I will try to set everything up and not installing the plugin “Bad Behavior” and see how long it will run or if this fixes the problem.

Ok, I think I figured this out. I installed the plugin Bad Behavior and the user would no longer log in. Curious…

Is there another plugin that does what “Bad Behavior” does?

I have a fresh install currently in play. I have made no changes whatsoever, as defined in the installation guide via the WP website.

I am using FileZilla and have it set to auto transfer mode so that I can catch all of my files. Is it really necessary that I set it to ASCII mode?

Does anyone know how to do this?

Knowing that I could have imported everything from the current website into the new wordpress install would have been great advice for this.

I was able to import everything and set it up in less than an hour.

Is no one else using this plugin???

In addition, the “WordPress Google Calendar Feed Parser Plugin with Widget” from Rob Z (located here: https://www.techknowme.com/blog/2009/06/download-rob-zs-widgetized-wordpress-google-calendar/) worked flawlessly for me and it allowed me to use widgets instead.

I found someone who used their email address like this:

and it worked for them. So, I will try this.

P.S. I have disected the GFP plugin site and I guess that I am just not getting what they are saying. I am needing a little hand holding with this one.

Is there a way that I can set my “podcasting” plugin to give me a drop down box that shows all files within a given folder or am I doomed to have to ask my users to enter the url every time?

Ok, my question is specific to the podcasting plugin. I am wanting to ftp the sermons to a specific folder and then as I am writing my post, click a drop down and select the file of choice.

Is this possible?

I can ftp the files to my web server. What I am looking for is a plugin that will set up the files within archived posts for me, rather than go through several hundred files individually.
