Hello @babylon1999, thanks for your recommendations. I will try the snippet you referenced and/or may choose the default size to be selected. Out of curiosity, are you aware of why WooCommerce did away with this behavior from the version 2x software? It used to be a built-in feature and it’s so incredibly useful. I’d love your insight. Thank you.

As I said, I don’t want to use a plugin.

After doing some reading, I’ve created a taxonomy that works very nicely in the admin. So the task is half completed. Now I’m trying to find code to display the taxonomy as a drop down menu. So far, nothing I’ve found works.

    Any suggestions?

I am also interested in finding out about moving from Joomla to WordPress. So far it looks like nobody here has been able to do it successfully. If anyone has managed a smooth transition, please let us know your tips on doing it.

A sitenote for mercime – It is incredibly rude and unhelpful to say “Google it.” That is such a pet peeve of mine when people use that as their answer on here.

We’re not cave men, we know how to use a search engine. In fact, this thread is what came up on Google. So essentially I went to a search engine, looked for an answer, and was taken to a thread that told me to use a search engine. Do you understand how unhelpful that is?

In the future, if you don’t have an answer, don’t bother to respond. Try to remember that the thread will most likely end up on Google, so it’s pointless to say “use Google”.

    Thanks.

The problem is that I can’t find an automated way to do it.

WordPress has the capability to auto-load the pages into individual < li > tags. (Home, About, Contact, etc…)

And it also has the ability to assign the active < li > with its own design < li class=”active” >. But it has to use the same style across the board for every li.

In my case, I want it to use a custom style, but only apply it to the first and last li in the sequence.
