In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] WorthlessFive stars? ??
I’m confused. I use the latest version of the Otter Pro plugin. And the Review Comparison Table is one of the available blocks. And I got to this support page from a link within the plugin itself. What am I missing?
In any case, the said issue has always been there.

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Numerous issue with version 2.0.35Version 2.0.35.2 doesn’t fix the issues I mentioned. It didn’t change anything. x.34 works fine.

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Numerous issue with version 2.0.35My previous message is about the latest update, version 2.0.35.1. The issue remains. Specifically:
1. The Open/Close doesn’t work when I pick “Pure CSS” it does if I choose Default. and
2. The sticky TOC shows no heading but just the Title of the TOC.2.0.34 works fine.

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Numerous issue with version 2.0.35Your version 2.0.35.1 doesn’t fix the issues I mentioned.
That fixed it. Thanks, Hardeep!
I hope you guys figure this out soon. It seems that might have something to do with time. If you open the page and then wait for a few minutes, the issue will happen right away as you type.
Version 1.7.5 has MUCH better performance on this front. 2.0.2 is lower immediately, even when the slowness hasn’t happened.
Maybe this has something to do with the renaming of the CSS classes, in the Review Block?

I wanted to add that I use the Review blocks via reusable blocks, and many of them were made with previous versions. Would that be the cause?

In reply to: [CHP Ads Block Detector] Questionable behavior of the PRO versionIt’s dongknows.com, Suresh. I’ve tried to contact you on the support forum of the Pro version for over a week with no answer:

I just reinstated the Pro version. We have no control over the “rouge” ads, so we have no idea when it will happen again. But generally, our site doesn’t allow for pop-up or overlay ads (those that stay on top of the page, above the text, etc.)

In reply to: [CHP Ads Block Detector] Questionable behavior of the PRO versionWe’ve been testing and every time I enabled the Pro version, the weirds ads appear. We can’t figure out where they come from…
Still, this is a review section of the free version, which works without any issue. For that I increase the rating, just to be fair. Maybe you should be more responsive on your support forum for the Pro, Suresh.

In reply to: [CHP Ads Block Detector] Questionable behavior of the PRO versionI’m talking about the PRO version, Suresh. It injected pop-up, overlay ads, in Spanish, on my website on top of our ads. Sometimes the ads cover the entire page.
Just stop doing it. Seriously. That’s lying at best and illegal at worst.
I’ve tried everything.
When you open an existing post to edit (that has a Review or Accordion block in it), things are normal at first. However, as I start to type, it gets progressively slower. By the time I’ve typed a few hundred words, it gets excruciatingly slow, taking a few seconds for the letters to appear.
When I save the post and reopen it, the slowness repeats the same way. OK at first and progressively worse.
If you want to test it, make sure you have a page that’s already published. Now edit it and make quite a few changes, not just a few words, then you will see.
This sometimes happens with a completely new post, too, just make sure you have a Review block at the bottom.
It seems the new version has some kind of programing loop causing the browser to stop responding.
2.0.1 fixes the front end but causes page editing to be extremely slow :(. Letters not appear as I type.
Thanks, Hardeep.
Yes, reusable blocks are the only way the Review block can replace the previous Product Review plugin for my need.
Thanks, looking forward. And I use a lot of reusable blocks. Is that a bad thing?
