Nevermind. For future reference, you need to copy the entirety of the parent content.php into the child’s content.php before editing the code. Then follow the instructions in the link I provided. That does the trick.

Wait, you were right. Changing to a different theme and back did the trick. For future reference, is this a cache clearing issue?

The child theme I’m trying to make based off of twentytwelve is not inheriting the style sheet. My file structure is sound. The child and parent are on the same level. Any suggestions?
