The more tag only shows when you are using the content or content limit, it doesn’t display on the excerpt.

In reply to: [Genesis Featured Widget Amplified] Genesis Featured Widget AmplifiedNot sure, the code should automatically cut off at the more tag. This plugin just calls the_content() and passes along the more link text.
Do you have anything in there for the more link text?
Johnny, I’m not sure I understand what you are trying to do.

In reply to: [Genesis Featured Widget Amplified] Genesis Featured Widget AmplifiedLooking at it, all of them appear to be working correctly except the one that appears to be using the full content and <!–more–> tag. The more tag should include an anchor link, but in your install it does not. Are you using code to modify the more tag link so that it doesn’t have the #anchor added?

In reply to: [Genesis Featured Widget Amplified] Genesis Featured Widget AmplifiedThe first step is to disable all of your other plugins. All of the links, including the image, title, and more link are built from the same function, so if it isn’t updating in part it is probably due to another plugin or theme code.
That’s a great idea, I’ll add that option to my feature spec plans for v 0.8
Hey guys, sorry for the delay on this, I don’t check the WP forums every day and it doesn’t email me when something has been added. I’ll be releasing an update today that addresses this.
FYI, if you post in the Genesis support forums I’m more likely to see the thread since I’m in there almost every day.
Good to know.

In reply to: [Genesis Featured Widget Amplified] Exclude by Term not workingPlease try selecting all categories and let me know if that works. I’ve changed the logic for this a bit as there were some differences in WP 3.0 and 3.1/3.2
I believe you found the answer to this in another post already. As noted there, the issue is a code error and currently requires an edit to the file. The next version resolves this but I’m waiting on release because I don’t have the translation files working correctly.
So they are not available in the list of post types or are they available but don’t display? how are you registering the post types?
Sounds like a potential javascript conflict. If you manually ave your options, will the field update?
Fred,
I’ll look into seeing about this for a future version. I am certainly looking for options to extend the functionality beyond the basic changes that can be done now.

In reply to: [Genesis Featured Widget Amplified] Genesis Featured Widget Amplifiedok, just a follow-up here, the last issue was a result of a plugin conflict. Another plugin was hijacking the query without checking to see if anything was already being excluded. I’m making a recommend to the plugin devs so their plugin plays nicer with other plugins.

In reply to: [Genesis Featured Widget Amplified] Genesis Featured Widget AmplifiedI can’t replicate the problem on my end using the latest version of the plugin and those settings. could you setup an admin account for me so I can look it over?
