In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Preventing Hotlinking on CDNGotcha, thanks!
Anyone know if there are setting inside Amazon to do this? They have things called “bucket policies” that are supposed to accomplish this but something about using cloudfront seems to make this complicated…

In reply to: WordPress RSS Feed and FlipboardYou ever get this sorted? I’m kind of surprised there isn’t a plugin or at least a sample RSS template floating around for this…

One quick question? Can you at least tell me which file in the theme contains the code for those dropdowns? I’ve been through ’em all and can’t find it anywhere. I just want to amp it up to 15 or so.
I can’t possibly be the only site owner in the world who wants to track traffic by tag…. really? am I?

In reply to: [Google Universal Analytics] Tags, Categories, Authors…Thanks Audrius …
So, I guess what I need to know is – does the code which the plugin creates already include the needed data for Tags, Categories & Authors? I know you need to create the custom variables inside of Google manually, but you also have to do something to the analytics code on the site as well. I can’t figure out how to do that… does the plugin do it?
So…. if I’ve already upgraded to Universal Analytics, is this plugin currently no use to me?

In reply to: Looking at WordPress Tags in Google AnlayticsI did a little more digging around and I *think* this is somehow related to “events” in Google which I don’t really understand. I’m kicking myself for making this “upgrade” on Google that doesn’t work with Yoast… but this just has to be a fairly straightforward change if I could only get Google to recognize the Tags/Category/Author metadata that is already sitting there on the pages….

In reply to: Looking at WordPress Tags in Google AnlayticsDarn. Apparently I’m out of luck until because I upgraded to “Universal Analytics” … god only know what the difference is.
I’m sure there’s still away to do this because my Google DFP ad server is capable of recognizing tags on pages… so somehow the muse be visible to Google. If only I had a clue how!

In reply to: How to determine Yahoo Traffic source?Interesting.. that makes it pretty much impossible to tell what people were searching for, right? Know of any way to get around it?
Wow – looks like that latest update has now incorporated this feature. Thanks!!!
One question – how long does it block someone for? Is it the same number (in minutes) that the regular intruders are blocked?
Hmm…. looks like a good one. Doesn’t seem like quite the idea above. What would be ideal would if to totally block the IP of anyone who tries “admin” for like a week. No access to the site in any way.
