In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] updated to WP 5.9.3 and my styles went away.Hey David,
Thank you for your quick response. Yes, this is strange. Yesterday, the styles were not being applied. I tried several was to refresh WordPress. Suddenly now the styles are working. Perhaps the server or WP installation was holding on to some cache and needed to refresh.

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Problem with thumbnail generation of PDFHey David,
I had my host update the Ghost Script. I tried regenerating the thumbnail again and it worked. I guess it was the Ghost Script. Thanx for your help!

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Problem with thumbnail generation of PDFHi David,
“Delete” does not work either. Where do I get the site configuration info? I can send it along later.

Hi Noormh,
Dylan from WP Google Maps offered the advice below that fixed the issue for me. Maybe it’ll work for you too.:
The visual layout you are seeing is usually one of the telltale signs that the compilation failed at some point.
I will do my best to document the steps needed to fully recompile the scripts, and restore the system to a normal working standard, below:
—Before we start, please ensure you are running the latest versions of the plugins as listed below:
– Basic: 8.1.10
– Pro: 8.1.9
– Gold: 5.1.5
– VGM: 3.31 (If applicable)With this confirmed and up to date, please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to Maps -> Settings -> Advanced
2. Scroll to the bottom of the Advanced section
3. Enable the option labelled ‘Developer Mode’
4. Save the global settingsIt is possible that the tabbed interface in the global settings may not be structured normally, in this case, you will need to scroll through the page to find the developer mode option.
This will prepare the system for the recompilation of scripts, however, some additional steps are needed to complete the process.
From here, navigate to the map editor, and select a map to edit. Allow the map page to load fully, this will complete the recompilation. Once complete, please navigate back to Maps -> Settings -> Advanced -> And disable ‘Developer mode’ once again.
If the recompilation succeeds the system should be fully functional once again and all scripts should work as expected.

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] PDF will not generate thumbnailI fixed it by applying these steps from your reply to danielmelnechuk (@danielmelnechuk) from 1 year 1 month ago, “One PDF thumbnail not showing after replacing with new PDF.”
I followed these steps:
- Navigate to the Media/Assistant admin submenu.
- Check the box to the left of the bad item.
- Pull down the Bulk Actions dropdown, select “Thumbnail” and click “Apply”.
- Verify that the Type radio button is set to “WP”.
- Change the “Existing Items” dropdown to “Delete”
- Ignore the “-Thumbnail” value in the Suffix text box. It does not apply to WP thumbnails.
- Click “Generate Thumbnails”.
- Check the return message at the top of the screen and look for a thumbnail in the table.
IMPORTANT: I only needed to get to step #3 to fix the issue.
Hi Rui (@takanakui),
I deactivated the plugin and this still is happening. The actual site falls within the viewport, yet there is a big white area to the right. I realize that this is probably not a result of your plugin, but do you have any idea what might be causing this.
Please see https://www.claytonindustries.com on your device.

Hi Rui Guerreiro (@takanakui),
Before I deactivate my Mobile Menu Premium to test the site — will deactivating the plugin delete all my settings, CSS, account info, etc.? I just want to be sure that when I activate it again, I won’t have to recreate all the settings.
Thanx,

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Bulk add ALT tagsPerfecto!

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Bulk add ALT tagsI’m a dork! I misread the comment on Yoast. It did not say that there was “no ALT tag.” It said they didn’t reflect my key phrase. Therefore, I need to batch append a key phrase to the 150+ PDFs I already uploaded and categorized. Is there an easy way to append some words without completely replacing the current tags so they can each contain the key phrase and their individual description? Or must I do this manually?
Sorry to be such a pain in the @$$.

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Bulk add ALT tagsHey David,
I went into the MLA library and all the thumbnails do show ALT text. For some reason, the Toast SEO plugin is saying that the thumbnails do not show an ALT tag.
